1.5 - 2 kg of fresh unsmoked ham without skin
1 kg of potatoes
0.5 kg of carrots
0.5 kg of seasonal apples, firm and sour-sweet
200 g of brown sugar
100 g of water
4 smashed cloves of garlic
60 g of mustard
100 g of butter
100 g of honey
a pinch of cinnamon
salt
black pepper
olive oil
1. Cut potatoes in half or in quarters (depends on their size), chop carrots in the pieces of the same size. Add some olive oil, a couple pinches of sea salt and a good pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Mix well.
2. Place vegetables in the baking dish. Add meat on the top. Cut a lattice pattern on the ham. Be sure to cut only the top layer, don't go too deep!
3. Season the meat with salt and pepper, pour oil from the vegetables and rub it. Put in a 320F oven for 40 minutes.
4. Now to the glaze. Mix brown sugar, water, smashed garlic, mustard, butter, honey and cinnamon in a cooking pot. Put on the medium heat for 15 minutes, until the butter is melted and everything is combined.
5. Cut the apples in half, cut out the core and slice into quarters.
6. Take the ham from the oven, add apples to the sides. Add the first layer of glaze using a brush. Increase the oven temperature to 425F and return the ham inside for 15 minutes.
7. Repeat the glazing procedure every 15 minutes until you're out of it. Take the ham from the oven after the final 15-minute round. Let it rest for 20 minutes. Check the veggies — if they're undercooked, put them back in the oven while the meat is resting.
8. Cut generous pieces using a big fork and a sharp knife. Be ready for the meat juice!
9. For the serving, place a couple of pieces on the plate, drop some vegetables and pour ham pan juice. You can also pour it in the pot and simmer on medium heat, making a tasty gravy. Enjoy!

Easy Baked Ham Recipe
Nothing is easier or more delicious than a beautiful, caramelized Baked Ham, especially with this pineapple brown sugar glaze on top. The perfect meal for a simple Sunday dinner, to feed a crowd, or for holiday entertaining like Easter and Christmas dinner.
????️ PRINT THE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
▢8-10 pounds bone-in fully-cooked, spiral-cut ham (3.63kg)
▢20 ounce can pineapple tidbits , or crushed pineapple (0.6kg)
▢3/4 cup light brown sugar (150g)
▢1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (1.38g)
▢1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (0.5g)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take ham out of the refrigerator 1-2 hours before baking to allow it to come to room temperature.
2. Meanwhile, make the glaze. In a saucepan combine pineapple tidbits, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until mixture has thickened.
4. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Remove ham from packaging and throw away the glaze packet and the plastic disk that covers the bone.
5. Place the ham flat/cut side down, in a deep baking dish or roasting pan. I like to line my pan with aluminum foil to make for easier clean-up.
6. Brush just a few spoonfuls of the glaze onto the ham, all over the outside. Reserve the remaining glaze for later.
7. Cover the ham tightly with a tent of aluminum foil. This will help keep the ham from drying out.
8. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 ½ to 2 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 110 degrees. Note, the ham is already cooked, so we’re just just trying to reheat it.
9. Remove the ham from the oven and remove foil tent (set it aside for later).
10. Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees. Brush the remaining glaze all over the ham.
11. Return to the oven and continue to bake for another 15 minutes.
12. Remove from oven, tent with foil and allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
MORE TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:
Ham: My favorite ham is a pre-cooked, bone-in, spiral sliced ham. The bone-in hams are usually more flavorful, and I love how the slicing is already done.
Storage Instructions: Place leftover ham in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Use the leftovers in roll sandwiches, Ham Bone Soup, Ham Asparagus Rolls, or Ham Fried Rice!
Freezing Instructions: Store leftover ham in an airtight container for 1-2 months. Thaw completely overnight in refrigerator.

Orange Maple Bourbon Glazed Ham (Low Carb)
I made this low carb bourbon glazed ham for Easter and it's my best ham yet. It starts with the ingredients: maple-flavored monk fruit syrup (low carb), bourbon whiskey (Woodford Reserve), orange zest, and a hint of blackstrap molasses took this recipe to new heights.
