This is our daily bread. Our spiritual daily bread is:
Acts 8:1
Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
God will use the unlikely to fulfill His will. I remember hearing the awesome compilation of the great men and women of God:
NOAH got drunk.
ABRAHAM was too old and lied about his wife.
ISAAC was a daydreamer.
JACOB deceived and lied.
LEAH was ugly.
JOSEPH was abused.
MOSES was a murderer and couldn’t talk.
GIDEON was afraid.
RAHAB was a prostitute.
JEREMIAH and TIMOTHY were too young.
DAVID was a murderer and adulterer.
ELIJAH was afraid.
JONAH ran from God.
PETER denied Christ.
The DISCIPLES fell asleep while praying.
PAUL was a murderer.
LAZARUS was dead.
Whatever you've been through in life, God can still use you. Just be willing and remember that our God is a God of second chances. :)
God bless!
