How To make Crunchy Taco Bake
1 lb Ground beef
1/2 c Onions, chopped
1 cn Hot chili with BEANS (15 oz)
1 cn Tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 cn Tomato paste (6 oz)
1 1/2 ts Chili powder
1/2 ts Salt
2 c Corn chips, coarsley crushed
1 c Cheddar cheese, shredded
Crumble ground beef in a 2 quart casserole. Add onions; microwave on high for 4 to 6 minutes. Stir to break up meat. Drain. Stir in chili with BEANS, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder and salt. Microwave on high for 6 to 8 minutes. Sprinkle 1 cup of corn chips in 8x8 inch baking dish. Spoon meat mixture over chips. Top with remaining corn chips. Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve with lettuce and salsa. Randy Rigg

The hard crunchy shell or crispy taco is a Mexican dish made out of maize flour/cornmeal as a main ingredient. Tacos can be Baked or deep fried. Maize flour is rich in dietary fiber & staple in many countries.
This video shows how to make BAKED taco shells at home.
Ingredients:
Maize flour/cornmeal - 1 cup
All purpose flour - 1 cup + for dusting
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Warm water - as required
Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes* at 180D C
*Time may vary depending on the ovens so please check after 8-10 mins

Crunchy Taco Cups
Here is what you'll need!
Servings: 12 taco cups
INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef
1 envelope (3 tablespoons) taco seasoning
6 ounces diced tomatoes
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 large flour tortillas
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 375º F.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and drain any remaining fat. Transfer to a bowl.
3. Add taco seasoning, tomatoes and green chiles to the ground beef and stir to combine.
4. Cut flour tortillas into a square shape and cut each into 4 smaller equally sized square pieces.
5. Generously coat a standard size muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
6. Line each cup of prepared muffin tin with a tortilla sheet.
7. Add 1.5 tablespoons taco mixture. Top with 1 tablespoon of cheese. Press down and add another layer of tortilla sheet, taco mixture, and a final layer of cheese.
8. Lightly brush the top edges of the tortilla with cooking oil.
9. Bake 18-20 minutes until cups are heated through and edges are golden brown.
10. Enjoy!
