Here is a simple way to make delicious taco meat. This seasoning goes well with ground beef, ground turkey or chicken.

INGREDIENTS
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
pepper to taste
salt to taste (I sub with 1 bouillon cube)
1 lb lean ground beef (or meat of your choice)
1/3 to 1/2 cup water

Homemade Taco Seasoning (Chilihead Version)

This is a great homemade taco seasoning mix recipe you can make at home with your own herbs and spices. You’ll never want to use store-bought packets again! It’s LOADED with chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic, onion, and more. This is my chilihead version, which focuses heavily on the chili powders, the way I like to make it!

THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
3 tablespoons chili powder (Use an American chili powder blend - I use equal parts ancho, guajillo, and New Mexican chili powders)
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon cornmeal (optional, as a thickener)

1/2 tsp MSG (Ac'cent brand or others)
1/2 tsp Salt

1 heap spoonful of Tomato Paste
1/2 tsp Better than Boullion Beef base
1/2 tbsp Oat Flour or Masa Harina
1 tsp LIME JUICE (secret ingredient)
