Ingredients

cup
french fried onions, canned, crushed
1
tablespoon
flour
1/4
teaspoon
seasoned salt
8
oz
crescent rolls, refigerated, canned
1
each
chicken, breast, skinned, boned, cooked, cut into 16 pieces
1
each
egg, beaten
1
sesame or poppy seed
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine french fried onions, flour and salt; blend well. Set aside. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Cut each in half diagonally to form 2 small triangles. Dip chickn pieces in egg; coat with onion mixture. Place one coated piece on wide end of each triangle; roll to opposite point. Place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
Brush tops with remaining beaten egg; sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
Makes 16 snacks.

Crescent Roll Chicken Recipes - Delicious Chicken Braid for a Quick Dinner!
Who doesn’t love easy canned chicken recipes?! Well friend, you don’t have to wonder what to make with canned chicken any longer. This fun chicken recipe uses canned chicken breasts, crescent rolls and of course, my favorite part ????????♀️ cheese.
Crescent roll chicken recipes - and especially this crescent roll braid are super quick to throw together, a recipe you can make with your kids & super delish. The ingredients for either of these recipes can be switched around so you can have a Taco Braid or a Chicken Spinach Ring - whatever your little heart desires. ????

BASIC HOW TO:
1 x 12.5 oz canned chicken breast - drained
¼ c. Feta
1 c. Sharp Cheddar
10oz package of frozen chopped spinach
⅓ c. Artichoke hearts - chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
2 cans crescent rolls
1 egg
Preheat the oven to 375.
Place your frozen spinach in a colander in the sink and run hot water over it. Let this drain while you throw the chicken - cheese - artichokes - garlic into a large bowl and mix.
Firmly press your spinach into the sides of the colander, squeeze with your hands or a paper towel - whatever you need to do to get ALL the water out of it. Once thoroughly drained, add to your bowl and mix well.
On a large baking stone (or cookie sheet - if you go this route, use non-stick or some parchment paper!) spread out your two cans of crescent rolls in a large rectangle. Use a rolling pin or your hands to seal all the edges together and create a flat surface.
Leaving 3-4 inches in the center, cut 1” ribbons on either side (maybe look at the video for this part!). Scoop your filling down the center & then alternate your strips by folding over the filling - starting at one end and continuing to the other. Make sure you pinch your ends together so your filling doesn’t leak out as it cooks.
Take your egg and beat it in a bowl and then using a pastry brush, do an egg wash over the top of the crescent rolls.
Bake for 25 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
