Stuffed Cornish Hens Recipe
Hi Guys, today I’ll show you How to Make Stuffed Cornish Hens with a sweet Cornbread Stuffing. RECIPE:
Cornbread RECIPE:
These little hens are a great alternative to making a giant turkey for Thanksgiving or any other holiday dinner. This is not a plain bland roasted chicken. The hens are rubbed with a thick spice paste for lots of flavor. The sweet cornbread stuffing is perfect with the spiced cornish hens. These are small birds and depending on how hungry you are, half a bird should be good per person especially if you have other sides. If the birds are tiny, then you’ll probably eat the whole thing. You can see how good the hens look and they taste even better. Wing pulls off easily, the skin is crispy and a little spicy from the cayenne. The sweet stuffing balances out the little heat from the hen. For those of you who don’t like heat, reduce the amount of cayenne powder.
The meat is very soft. The dish looks impressive and I doubt you’ll get any complaints.
I’ll probably put the stuffing as a separate video for those looking specifically for a good cornbread stuffing. Let me know how you liked it in the comments below. Subscribe and I’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching :)
