Chilli cheese toast
Serves 2 to 4

Cooking time : 10 min
Course : snacks / tea snacks
Ingredients
1 nos capsicum chopped
1 nos deseeded tomato chopped
4-6 nos bread slices
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup processed cheese
1 Tsp green chillies chopped
1 Tsp chilli flakes
1/4 Tsp salt
1/4 Tsp black pepper crushed
1 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp cream
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp butter
Method
In a clean and sanitised bowl add chopped caspicum, tomato, green chillies chopped, chilly flakes, salt and pepper, chopped onion, both the cheese, cream and chopped coriander and make a smooth mixture
Toast the bread on both sides. Apply butter
Spread the cheese mixture on one side of the slice
You can toast this in a preheated oven till the cheese is melted and the sides get brown.
Alternatively you can place the bread slices on tawa at medium heat, sprinkle some water on one side of the tawa to create steam, this will enable it to melt the cheese.
Add butter to make it crisp.
Serve hot.

I wanted to make a few updates to this video! SO here it is... an oldie but a goodie :)
Learn how to make the best homemade Chilli Cheese Cornbread with this delicious mexican style, chilli and cheese cornbread recipe.
There's something about the crispy, cheesy crust with a soft and fluffy inside that keeps you coming back for more!
This cornbread is great to enjoy as a side dish or the main show! Dress it up sweet or savoury. Bake in a skillet or baking tin. Recipe can also be used for muffins.
INGREDIENTS
500g milk
3 eggs
230g nacho cheese *save some for sprinkling
30g chopped spring onions
100g chopped bell peppers (red and banana) *important to drain them well
225g melted butter
200g corn salsa
125g corn kernels *drained
1 chopped tomato *drain juice
1tsp taco or chilli seasoning
1/2 fresh chilli
sprig of fresh oregano
450g flour
20g baking powder
12g salt
170g cornmeal
55g sugar

Pav bhaji toast
Prep time 15-20 minutes
Cooking time: 5-10 minutes
Serves: 12-15 toast (depends on the size of the bread slice)
Ingredients:
Boiled potatoes 3-4 medium sized (grated)
Onions 1/3rd cup (chopped)
Tomatoes 1/3rd cup (chopped)
Capsicum 1/3rd cup (chopped)
Green chillies 2-3 nos. (chopped)
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Pav bhaji masala 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Fresh coriander 1 tbsp (chopped)
Bread slices as required
Butter to toast
Method:
Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl & mix well, your pav bhaji filling is ready.
Take a bread slice and evenly apply the pav bhaji filling.
Set a tawa on medium heat, add the filling applied bread slice & toast it until its crisp & golden brown in colour, flip and cook the toast briefly until the toast gets some colour.
Your pav bhaji toast is ready, cut in squares or triangles and serve hot with ketchup, green chutney or any dip of your choice.
Cheese chilli corn toast
Prep time 10-15 minutes
Cooking time: 8-10 minutes
Serves: 12-15 toast (depends on the size of the bread slice)
Ingredients:
Processed cheese 200 grams
Butter 50 grams
Boiled corn 1/3rd cup
Oregano 1 tsp
Chilli flakes 1 tsp
Green chillies 2-3 nos. (chopped)
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Bread slices as required
Butter for toasting
Method:
Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and mix well, your cheese chilli corn filling is ready.
Take a bread slice and apply sufficient amount of filling over it.
Set a pan on medium heat, add butter and place the cheese chilli corn toast, toast it on low flame until the bread is crisp. Place a very hot cast iron tawa over the pan and cover it to ensure the cheese gets the brown texture just like in an oven, or you could simply toast it the oven at 180℃ for 7-8 minutes.
Your cheese chilli corn toast is ready, cut into squares or triangles serve hot with green chutney, ketchup, mayonnaise or any dip of your choice.
Tandoori paneer toast
Prep time 15-20 minutes
Cooking time: 8-10 minutes
Serves: 12-15 toast (depends on the size of the bread slice)
Ingredients:
Tandoori sauce
Sarson ka tel (mustard oil) 1 tbsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder 2 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Amchur powder 1 tsp
Kala namak (black salt) ½ tsp
Kasuri methi ½ tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Garlic ginger paste 1 tbsp
Hung/thick curd 1/3rd cup
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Live charcoal + ghee
Paneer topping
Tomatoes 1/3rd cup (tiny square)
Capsicum 1/3rd cup (tiny square)
Onions 1/3rd cup (tiny square)
Paneer 200 grams (tiny square)
Chaat masala ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Fresh coriander 1 tbsp (chopped)
For toasting:
Butter
Bread slices as required
Processed cheese
Method:
For tandoori sauce, take a mixing bowl, add mustard oil and kashmiri red chilli powder, mix well to bleed the natural red colour, further add the remaining powdered spices, ginger garlic paste, thick curd, mayonnaise & salt to taste, mix well.
Further smoke the sauce for 2-3 minutes by pouring ghee over live charcoal, discard the coal and mix the ghee with the sauce, your tandoori sauce is ready, keep aside to be used later.
For paneer topping, add the ingredients of the topping, mix well.
Now, take a bread slice, evenly apply soft butter & further, apply the tandoori sauce and top it with sufficient amount of paneer topping, now, grate processed cheese as required.
Set a pan on medium heat, add butter and place the tandoori toast, toast it on low flame until the bread is crisp. Place a very hot cast iron tawa over the pan and cover it to ensure the cheese gets the brown texture just like in an oven, or you could simply toast it the oven at 180℃ for 7-8 minutes.
Your tandoori paneer toast is ready, cut into squares or triangles serve hot with green chutney, ketchup, mayonnaise or any dip of your choice.
Veg sesame toast
Prep time 15-20 minutes
Cooking time: 8-10 minutes
Serves: 12-15 toast (depends on the size of the bread slice)
Ingredients:
Boiled potatoes 3-4 medium sized (grated)
Carrots 1/3rd cup (chopped)
Capsicum 1/3rd cup (chopped)
French beans 1/3rd cup
Green chillies 2-3 nos. (chopped)
Sweet corns 1/3rd cup (chopped)
Ginger 1 inch (chopped)
Fresh coriander 1 tbsp (chopped)
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Oil for shallow frying
Bread slices as required
Method:
Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and mix well, your sesame toast filling is ready.
Take a bread slice and apply sufficient amount of filling over it.
Set a pan on medium heat, add oil for shallow frying, fry the toast facing the seed coated side first, fry for 2-3 minutes on medium high flame, carefully flip & fry until the bread becomes crisp. Remove it over a tissue paper.
Your veg sesame toast is ready, cut into squares or triangles, serve hot with green chutney, ketchup, mayonnaise or any dip of your choice.

Chilli Cheese Toast
The use of two varieties of cheese in just the right proportions and a sprinkling of mustard powder along with the chilli flakes makes this version of Chilli Cheese Toast very special. Adding a little milk to the cheese ensures it coats the bread well and doesn’t dry up while baking. However, make sure you serve this baked Chilli Cheese Toast as soon as you prepare it, to relish its fresh flavour, strong aroma of toasted spices and ideal texture.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Baking Time: 20 minutes
Baking Temperature: 200°C (400 °F)
Makes 8 toasts
Ingredients
4 bread slices
2 tsp butter
1/2 cup grated mozzrella cheese
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
2 tbsp milk
a pinch of salt
1/4 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
Method
1. Apply ½ tsp of butter on each bread slice and grill them lightly in a pre-heated oven
at 200oc (400 of) for 5 to 7 minutes or till the bread turns brown and crisp on top.
Keep aside.
2. Meanwhile, combine the mozzarella cheese, processed cheese and milk and
mix well.
3. Add the salt, mustard powder, chilli flakes and green chillies, mix well and
keep aside.
How to proceed
1. Place 1 slice of toasted bread on a flat dry surface with the browned side facing down
2. Apply 1/4th of the prepared topping on the toasted bread and spread it evenly using
a butter knife.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to make 3 more toasts.
4. Grill in a pre-heated oven at 200oc (400 of) for 8 to 10 minutes, till they turn
golden brown in colour on top.
5. Cut each chilli cheese toast diagonally into 4 equal pieces and serve immediately.

For Green Chutney
1 Cup Coriander Leaves
4 Green Chillies
2 tbsp Peanuts
¼ Tsp Aamchur Powder

For green chutney:
Take 1 cup of coriander leaves, 4 green chillies, 2 tbsp peanuts, ¼ tsp aamchur powder, ¼ cup of water & ¼ tsp salt. Blend it well.

In a bowl add ½ cup of boiled corn, ½ cup of capsicum, ½ cup of processed cheese, ¼ tsp aamchur powder, ¼ tsp salt & 4 tbsp green chutney. Merge it properly.

Apply butter & green chutney on bread slice. Place portion of stuffing & spread it evenly.

Sandwich it using another bread slice & apply butter over it.

Fry until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
