How To make Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
2 Eggs
3 Tbls Whole Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
3 Cups Chocolate Chips or M&Ms
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla in a mixer bowl. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in another container. Add to the butter mixture and blend well. Stir in the chocolate chips (or M&Ms) carefully so as not to break them. Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight. Scoop out the dough by teaspoonfuls and drop on an ungreased cookie sheet, 1 inch apart. Bake until browned (about 8 minutes). Cool slightly then remove onto a rack to cool completely.

100g unsalted butter
80g sugar
1g salt
1 egg

160g flour
3g baking powder
100g chocolate + 20 g
50g nuts
Bake 190℃ for 13 to 14 minutes
▶American measurements
7 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
Vanilla extract
1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3.5 ounces chocolate + 0.7 ounces
1/4 cup chopped nuts
Bake at 375°F for 13 to 14 minutes

▶Method
Add sugar and salt to softened butter and mix.
Add beaten egg and mix.
Add vanilla, flour and baking powder.
Add the chocolate and nuts and chill in the refrigerator for an hour.
Divide the dough into 135g portions and make 4 cookies.
Bake in a preheated oven to 190°C for 13 to 14 minutes.

Need to step up your cookie game? I got you.
Now don't get me wrong... I LOVE my brown-butter cookie recipe. Its my GO-TO recipe. But when I want to make something a little different and a little more special. I like to make these guys:)
Levain Bakery Style Cookies
INGREDIENTS
-1 cup *cold butter (Do not take it out to soften)
-3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
-1/2 cup sugar
-2 eggs
-1 cup cake flour
-1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
-2 cups walnut halves
-1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (or 2 cups)
HOW TO
Start by taking your butter straight out of the fridge, cut into big cubes, and put right into a stand mixer (hand mixer and large bowl works too.) Add sugars in with the butter. Mix until just combine. Add egg. Mix until just combine. (*as noted in the video, DO NOT over-mix this dough. You will get flat, sad cookies.) Dump the rest of the ingredients right onto of the butter/sugar mixture. Pulse your blender until dough is fully combine. Form into 6oz (3/4) size dough balls. *Its recommended to refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours* Or go ahead and bake in a 400 degree oven for 11 minutes.
*You can also make smaller cookies with this recipe! Just form into smaller balls and bake for 9 minutes.
