CHRISTMAS COOKIES????SLICE & BAKE! | HOLIDAY COOKIES RECIPE
Today, I am making delightful Christmas tree cookies all from scratch to celebrate this Christmas season! The type of cookies is called icebox cookies, which you can also enjoy by chilling in a fridge. I hope you’ll enjoy this video and try it at your home if you get a chance!

[INGREDIENTS]
• Unsalted butter: 226g (8oz, 2 US sticks)
• Powdered sugar: 180g (6.3oz)
• Salt: 1/4 tsp
• Whole egg: 1
• Egg yolk: 1 (Save the egg white for egg wash)
• Cake flour: 350g (12.3oz)
• Almond flour: 70g (2.5oz)
• Colorings: Add as you like! (A link is below)
• Sprinkles: As your choice!
Egg wash:
• Egg white: 1
• Water: 30g (1oz)
Bake at 340F | 170C for about 10 mins
and turn the temperature down to 330F/165C and bake for another 10 mins or until the edge is slightly toasted.
*Adjust the time and temperature depending on the oven and the size of your cookies. (Today, it was about 2 inch/5cm)

벌써 크리스마스가 다가오네요~ 오늘은 크리스마스에 딱 어울리는 진저브레드 케이크를 만들어봤어요~
시나몬과 생강 향이 맛있게 어우러지는 진저브레드 케이크 시트에 크림치즈를 넣은 버터크림을 올려 도시락 박스에 담아 만들고 크리스마스에 어울리는 모양으로 장식했어요.
오븐에 사용 가능한 틀이라서 용기에 케이크 반죽을 넣어 굽고 식힌 뒤 그 위에 크림을 채워 만드니 정말 간단하게 만들 수 있어 좋더라구요.
시트에 우유를 충분히 적셔야 부드럽게 먹을 수 있답니다.
크림 양이 많은 편이라 크림 중간에 구운 피칸을 넣어 식감과 맛을 더해주었는데 생각보다 케이크와 잘 어울리니 피칸이 아니더라도 다른 견과류를 첨가하시는게 훨씬 맛있는 것 같아요.

▶틀 사이즈 Mold size : 18cm x 9cm x 5cm 약 3개 분량
▶재료
무염버터 100g
흑설탕 80g
소금 1g
꿀 50g
우유 80g
달걀 1개
중력분 170g
베이킹파우더 2g
베이킹소다 2g
시나몬파우더 3g
생강가루 5g
무염버터 350g
슈가파우더 220g
크림치즈 175g
생크림 90g
레몬즙 8g
바닐라익스트랙 4g
구운 피칸 50g
▶레시피
1. 냄비에 무염버터, 흑설탕, 소금, 꿀을 넣고 약불에 올려 저으며 살짝 걸쭉해질 때까지 끓인 뒤 볼에 옮겨 살짝 식힌다.
2. 우유를 넣고 섞고 달걀을 넣고 섞은 뒤 중력분, 베이킹파우더, 베이킹소다, 시나몬파우더, 생강가루를 체 쳐 넣고 섞는다.
3. 틀 3개에 반죽을 나눠 붓고 평평하게 하고 170도 예열한 오븐에서 25분 정도 굽고 식힌다.
4. 실온에 두어 말랑해진 무염버터를 부드럽게 풀고 슈가파우더를 2번에 나눠 넣고 섞고 고속으로 약 6분 정도 충분히 휘핑한 뒤 크림치즈를 넣고 섞는다.
5. 생크림, 레몬즙, 바닐라익스트랙을 넣고 섞는다.
6. 식힌 케이크에 포크로 구멍을 내고 우유를 1개당 50g 정도씩 듬뿍 뿌리고 크림을 조금 올리고 작게 다진 구운 피칸을 뿌리고 크림을 올리고 평평히 한 뒤 냉장실에서 30분 정도 굳힌다.
7. 남은 버터크림에 식용색소를 넣고 섞어 색을 내고 굳힌 케이크 윗면에 장식한다.

MARIGOON RECIPE (Easiest Christmas Cookie Ever!)
Makes 24 cookies
INGREDIENTS:
3 egg whites
¼ tsp (1.25 ml) salt
½ tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
¾ cup (75g) confectioners’ sugar, sifted
2 cups (475ml) cornflakes
8 oz (230g) package of dark chocolate chips
1 cup (240ml) sweetened coconut flakes
½ cup (75g) chopped pecans or walnuts
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Combine the egg whites, salt and vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form. Slowly add the sugar gradually until stiff and satiny. Fold in the chocolate chips, cornflakes, unsweetened coconut and nuts.
Scoop out batter with a 2-inch cookie scoop onto cookie sheet. Bake 18-20 minutes until set and golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly. These are really good served warmed! Or allow to cool completely and package up for gifting!
