Today I will be demonstrating how to make a super delicious Coffee Cake.
Enjoy!
Cake Recipe:
3/4 cups softened butter
1-2/3 cups sugar
4 egg
2 tsps vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
Filling:
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tbsp flour
3 tbsps brown sugar
Glaze:
1 cup icing sugar
2-3 tbsps half & half cream
Double Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Coffee Cake | Rahiza Dorah
I used to think that coffee cake means cakes that has coffee as one of their main ingredients. I was wrong. Little that I know that it was cakes that people would enjoy with their afternoon coffee or such. Usually with some drizzle, glaze or any extra sweet toppings.
This one I made with plain rich yogurt instead and I promise you, there’s nothing not to love about this cake, unless if you just don’t like chocolate, and cinnamon sugar.

Preheat oven to 160°C for 15 mins
Yield : 8x8x3 inch square pan
Ingredients (~ENGLISH~)
250g plain flour
1½ tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
115g butter
100g castor sugar
2 eggs
1tsp vanilla
227g sour cream
120g dark chocolate chips
120g milk chocolate chips
2tsp cinnamon powder
2tsp fine sugar

1½ tsp serbuk penaik
1tsp bikarbonat soda
½ tsp garam
115g mentega (pure)
100g gula kastor
2 telur (size besar)
1tsp esen vanila
227g sour cream (krim masam – kalau takde, boleh ganti yogurt tanpa perasa)
120g cip coklat gelap
120g cip coklat susu
2tsp serbuk kayu manis
2tsp gula halus

✅Ingredients
Chocolate Bundt Cake
• butter and flour for coating and dusting the pan
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup warm water or coffee
• ⅔ cup buttermilk
• ⅓ cup sour cream
• ⅓ cup vegetable oil
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Chocolate Ganache Glaze
• 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate, roughly chopped
• ⅔ cup heavy cream
• 1 tablespoon corn syrup
✅Instructions
Chocolate Bundt Cake
1️⃣ 00:12 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Use butter to grease a 10-12 cup bundt pan well. Dust with a little flour or cocoa powder and tap out the excess.
2️⃣ 01:39 - Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl until combined.
3️⃣ 02:03 - Add eggs, warm water, buttermilk, sour cream, oil, and vanilla. Use a hand mixer to beat on a medium speed until smooth. This should take just a couple of minutes.
4️⃣ 02:46 - Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. Tap the pan on the countertop a few times to allow any air bubbles to escape.
5️⃣ 02:53 - Bake for 45-50 minutes in a 350 degree oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6️⃣ 03:01 - Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes and then turn out onto the racks and allow to cool completely.
Chocolate Ganache Glaze
1️⃣ 03:15 - Place roughly chopped chocolate into a mixing bowl. Pour heavy cream into a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
2️⃣ 03:32 - Once cream comes to a simmer, remove it from the heat immediately and pour over chocolate. Let stand 5 minutes, until chocolate is completely melted.
3️⃣ 03:45 - Stir until smooth. Once smooth, stir in corn syrup. Drizzle over the top of the cooled cake.
