How To make Chili Spaghetti
3/4 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion
1 clove garlic
14 ounces dry spaghetti
cooked
4 cups tomato sauce
4 ounces lowfat cheddar cheese :
shredded
1 small pimientos -- jar
1 teaspoon chili powder
pinch salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Saute meat, onion and garlic in skillet till meat is cooked. Drain =
well. Add remaining ingredients except cheese and simmer 10 mins. Add =
cheese and cook till melted.

Super Quick, Super Simple and Really Tasty Chilli Oil Spaghetti
It looks simple, it IS simple, but it tastes amazing. This Spaghetti aglio e olio - or chilli oil spaghetti as I usually call it - is al dente pasta tossed in warm garlicky olive oil with the addition of chilli flakes for some gentle warming heat.
So tasty, so easy, and ready in 17 minutes!

Ingredients:
400 g (14 oz) dried spaghetti
5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
3 garlic cloves peeled and minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
To Serve
4 tablespoons shaved vegetarian Italian-style hard cheese (or Parmesan for non-vegetarian)
lemon zest from one lemon
Black pepper
Instructions
1. Cook the spaghetti as per the pack instructions (ideally until al dente – about 8-10 minutes) in a large pan of boiling salted water. Once cooked, drain, reserving a half a cup of the pasta cooking water.
2. When the pasta is almost cooked (about 5 minutes from the end of cooking), heat the olive oil in a large frying pan (skillet) over a low-medium heat.
3. Add the chilli flakes, garlic, salt and pepper. Fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring often.
4. Add the drained spaghetti and a good splash (about 4 tablespoons) of pasta cooking water. Stir together, adding more pasta water, if desired.
5. Stir in the chopped parsley.
6. Divide between bowls and top with shaved cheese, a little lemon zest and black pepper.
Notes
Want it a little more cheesy/creamy?
If you want to add a little more cheesy-creaminess to the pasta, add 2-3 tablespoons of grated vegetarian Italian-style hard cheese (or parmesan) at the same time you add the cooked pasta to the frying pan (skillet).
Changing the quantities
You can double or halve (or make it just for one) this recipe. Stick to the same ingredient ratios.No adjustment to the cooking time needed.

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. ground beef
1 large finely diced onion
4 cups beef broth
1 cup water
14 oz. can tomato sauce
3 Tbsp. tomato paste
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
Add everything in a soup pot. Stir well until meat granules are fine texture.
Turn heat on and bring to a light simmer and cover
partially with lid.
Cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours stirring occasionally.
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:
Cooked spaghetti
Kidney beans
Chopped onions
Grated Cheddar Cheese
Serve 3 way, 4 way or 5 way on spaghetti OR serve on hotdogs.

QUICK AND EASY CHILI SPAGHETTI | Richard in the kitchen
In this video I show y'all how to make a quick and easy chili spaghetti with a Cincinnati flare. Anyone who has ever eaten Cincinnati chili knows how wonderful it is. It can sometimes be labor and time intensive though. This recipe is a go-to when you don't have alot of time and you just need to whip up a delicious meal without all the fuss of making authentic homemade chili the Cincinnati way, but with that wonderful Cincinnati chili flavor. This recipe uses a simple can of Hormel chili with no beans and a Gold Star Cincinnati chili seasoning. Just warm the chili in a sauce pan, add the seasonings and serve over your choice of spaghetti topped with plenty of grated cheddar cheese for a quick and easy 3 way chili spaghetti meal. Add onions and/or beans for another way of enjoying this dish.
Shopping List: Servings: 2
1 15 ounce can of Hormel chili with no beans
1 tsp. Gold Star Cincinnati chili seasoning
1 tbsp. tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 lb. (8 ounces) thick spaghetti
2 tbsp. Kosher salt for the spaghetti water (if using table salt use 1 tbsp) in 2 quarts of water.
Directions:
Different variations of this style chili:
For 2 way: Top spaghetti with only the chili
For 3 way: Top spaghetti with chili and grated cheddar
For 4 way: Top spaghetti with chili, grated cheddar cheese and diced onions
For 5 way: Top spaghetti with chili with beans, grated cheddar cheese and diced onions
In a large pot bring two quarts of water to a rapid boil then add the salt. DO NOT ADD THE SALT BEFORE THE WATER COMES TO A FULL BOIL. Add the spaghetti and cook 2 mins. less than package directions for al dente texture. Drain, but do not rinse.
In a sauce pan add the chili, tomato paste and seasoning and the other ingredients depending on which way you're serving it. Warm thoroughly.
Pour the chili on top of the spaghetti and top with a large mound of grated cheddar cheese.
