Mango Chicken Puffs Recipe | HappyFoods Tube
Mango Chicken Puffs are easy puff pastry appetizers ready in under 30 minutes. Perfect bite size party food recipe with simple ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:
500g (1.1lb) Chicken Breasts
5 Tablespoons Mayonnaise -
5 Tablespoons Mango Chutney -
1 Ready-Rolled Rectangle Puff Pastry Sheet (275g/9.7oz)
1 Teaspoon Chia Seeds -
1/3 Cup Chopped Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley
Egg Wash (1 small egg, beaten)
Salt (optional)
METHOD:
1. Cook the chicken breasts the night before in boiling water for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Cut them into tiny pieces or shred them and keep in the fridge (in an air-tight container).
2. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice puff pastry into rectangles (about 4x6cm/1.5x2.4inch) and transfer these onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush them with egg wash and sprinkle with Chia seeds.
3. Bake the puff pastry in a preheated oven at 180C/356F for about 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. To make sure not to burn them – check them 10 minutes into baking.
4. Meanwhile: Cut the breasts into small cubes (you can also shred them or finely cut, if preferred).
5. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, mango chutney, parsley and chicken. Taste it and add salt, if needed.
6. Once the puff pastry is ready, let it cool down before cutting each piece in half horizontally. Fill the bottom part with mango chicken mixture and cover with chia seed puff.
7. Arrange on a serving plate, tray or a chopping board and serve!

Chicken Puffs Kerala Recipe | Easy Puffs Recipe
Ingredients
Boneless chicken - 640 gm
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Olive - 1 tbsp
Coconut oil - 1 to 2 tbsp
Chopped onion - 1 1/2cup
Green chilli - 1 tsp
Garlic - 1 bulb
Ginger - 1 medium size
Curry leaves - a few
Chopped tomato - 1
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Turmeric - a little
Kashmiri chilli powder - a little
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Puff pastry - 1 roll (8 pieces)
Egg wash - 1 egg
Method
In a bowl, add chicken, turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, olive oil and salt to taste. Mix well. Marinate for about 30mins.
Heat pan on medium flame, add coconut oil and when oil becomes hot, add marinated chicken and fry both sides.
Transfer the fried chicken into another bowl and keep aside. Cool completely.
In the same pan, add chopped onion, salt and green chilli. Mix well.
In a grinder, add ginger, garlic and curry leaves. Blend well.
Add the ginger-garlic mix into the pan and cook until translucent.
Add chopped tomato and mix well.
Add garam masala, chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.
Cook until it becomes mushy.
Meanwhile, blend the fried chicken (don't over blend the chicken). Keep aside.
Add the blended chicken into the onion mixture and mix well.
The chicken mix is ready.
Cut the puff pastry into 8 pieces and place the chicken mix into the pastry and shape it well.
Preheat the oven at 180°C for about 10mins.
Bake at 180°C for about 30mins or until golden brown.

Chicken Patties
Recipe in English:
Puff Pastry:
Ingredients:
-Ghee 400 gms
-Pani (Water) 200 ml
-Anda (Egg) 1 (Optional)
-Oil 4 tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp
-Cheeni (Sugar) Powdered 2 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 500 gms
-Pani (Water) if required
Directions:
-In wok,add ghee,let it melt and bring it to room temperature.
-In bowl,add chilled water with ice cubes,melted ghee,leave it until ghee becomes solid and refrigerate for approx.6 hours.
-In jug,add water,egg,oil,salt,sugar and whisk well.
-In bowl,add all-purpose flour and make a well,gradually add egg water mixture and knead until smooth & soft dough is formed.Use water if required,cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
-Take out solid ghee from water and squeeze out excess water completely.
-Take square pan,place butter paper and set a block in a square pan.
-Place butter paper on top and with the help of kitchen hammer flatten ghee and freeze ghee block for 20 minutes.
-Take prepared dough,sprinkle generous amount of flour and roll out dough in round shape with the help of rolling pin.
-In the center of the dough,place solid ghee block,wrap four sides,dust dry flour and roll out in rectangular shape with the help of rolling pin,fold one third into the middle and then the other third on top,fold and overlap the remaining sides,cover and freeze it for 20 minutes.
-Take out from freezer,dust dry flour and roll out in rectangular shape with rolling pin.
-Repeat the same over lapping folding process,cover and freeze it for another 20 minutes.
-Again take out from freezer,dust dry flour and roll out in rectangular shape with rolling pin.
-Puff pastry is ready and use as required.
Tips:
-If you are using butter,follow the same puff pastry method.
-If you are using ghee,freeze it for 15-20 minutes and if you are using unipuff,put it in fridge for 15-20 minutes.
-Sprinkle generous amount of all-purpose flour while you are rolling or overlapping puff pastry.
-In puff pastry recipes,egg is optional.
-Put the ghee (with chilled ice cold water) in refrigerator until ghee becomes solid.

Ingredients:
-Oil 2 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) Chopped 1 medium
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 2 tsp
-Chicken 1 & ½ cups (Boiled with ½ tsp ginger garlic paste & shredded)
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
-Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) ½ tsp
-Chicken cube ¼ tsp
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 tbs
-Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup
Directions:
-In frying pan,add oil and onion,fry until translucent.
-Add green chilies and mix.
-Add chicken,salt,black pepper powder,white pepper powder,chicken cube and mix well.
-Add all-purpose flour and mix well for 2 minutes.
-Add milk and mix until milk is dried,set aside and let it cool.
-Roll out puff pastry,cut in desired shape by using round cookie cutter,egg wash,add chicken filling,put another piece on top,gently press to seal and egg wash again.
-Spray baking tray with water and place chicken patties,bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 40-45 minutes.
-Chicken patties are ready.
Tips in urdu:
-Agar makhan use ker raha han tou same yehe puff pastry ka method follow karein.
-Agar ghee use ker raha ha tou 15-20 minutes kliya freeze karein aur agar unipuff use ker raha han tou 15-20 minutes kliya fridge mein rakh dein.
-Puff pastry ko rolling ya overlapping kertay hoye bohat sara maida chirak dein.
-Puff pastry mein anda optional hai.
-Ghee ko chilled pani aur baraf ka saath refrigerator mein rakah dein jab tak ghee solid na ho jaye.
