Notes Chicken *I like to use either meat picked from a rotisserie chicken or I'll cook some chicken in my slow cooker the night before. You'll need about an 8-10 oz piece of chicken for 2 cups of shredded chicken.
Can I use Blue Cheese? Yes! you can reduce the cheese in the recipe to 1/2 cup (113 grams) or omit it entirely and add 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles. I still like to top mine with the 1/3 cup (55g) of cheddar, but that's a personal preference.

Smoked Buffalo Chicken Dip
This Buffalo Chicken Dip to be one of the easiest and tastiest dips you'll ever make. You can load it up with smoked chicken and you have yourself a hearty dip for tailgating!
I start by smoking a whole chicken seasoned with The Gospel for ~1 hour at 425. I pullshred that meat to use in the dip. Whole chicken is the cheapest way to buy chicken and smoking it adds a great layer of flavor depth to the dip. Alternatively you could buy a rotisserie chicken.

When hosting a get-together with friends, I think it’s important to strike a balance between purchasing some food from the grocery store and making other items from scratch. This way, I can put something out that is fresh and allows me to enjoy my friends and family rather than feeling trapped in the kitchen, missing out on all the fun. One of my favorite fresh food items to make from scratch is this garlic parmesan dipping sauce. It’s cool and creamy, which means it pairs really well with fried foods, like fried chicken, spicy foods, like buffalo wings, with fresh veggies, and slices of pita bread. So it pretty much goes with everything!
