Is Pork Safe When Pink? No Paint Needed When Pork Is Cooked Properly!
Pork is safe when slightly pink! Don't let pink pork be considered a problem in your house. 145 degrees is all you need for flavor. #PinkPork For best results when preparing pork chops, pork roast or other fresh pork, use a meat thermometer, cook to 145 degrees (internal temperature) and let the pork rest for three minutes before cutting. Pork cooked properly to 145° will have a slight blush of pink in the center and will be tender, juicy and flavorful!
How to impress your family and friends - Cook pork about 20 minutes per pound. Correctly cooked pork is juicy, tender, and slightly pink in the center.
