3 c Brown sugar 3/4 c Shortening 4 ea Eggs 5 c Flour 3/4 ts Baking soda 3/4 ts Cream tartar 1 ts Vanilla Filling; cook together: 1 c Dates 1/2 c Nuts 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Water Make into rolls and place in refrigerator for a few hours.
