How to Make Perfect Homemade Waffles
Making homemade waffles has never been easier! This waffle recipe is fail proof and can be made ahead and kept in the fridge for up to 5 days. It makes a perfect waffle that is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

✅Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup butter melted

1️⃣ Preheat a waffle iron.
2️⃣ 00:00:20 - In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3️⃣ 00:00:37 - Pour in buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir until well combined.
4️⃣ 00:01:18 - Cook in a preheated waffle maker using 1/2 cup of batter for Belgian style, and 1/3 cup for American style. Amount of batter varies based on waffle iron.
5️⃣ 00:02:10 - Serve hot with syrup, fresh berries, and/or whipped cream.

Bacon Brown Sugar Buttermilk Waffles Recipe

What's better than waffles? This Waffle Recipe with bacon and brown sugar!
Ingredients:
6 slices of bacon
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup brown sugar
⅔ cup melted butter
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2½ cups buttermilk
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Preheat your waffle iron.
Arrange bacon in a single layer on a rack over a baking sheet.
Place in the upper third of the oven and bake until bacon is brown and crispy, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove from oven & once cool, chop the bacon into bite size bits and set aside.
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and brown sugar.
Whisk to blend.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, butter, buttermilk and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir.
When almost fully incorporated, add the bacon and mix only until the dry ingredients are moistened in the batter.
Cook according to your waffle baker instructions.
Serve with maple syrup

They really take me back to my childhood and are pretty much identical to those highly requested waffles my mother use to make for us! This is my FAVORITE basic waffle recipe. Top it with whatever you'd like and it's fabulous! Perfect for company and freezes great!
