How To make Butter Cake (Kh)
1/2 c Butter, softened
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs, separated
2 c Flour
2 t Baking powder
1/8 t Salt
3/4 c Milk
1 t Vanilla
Frosting: 3 c Confectioners sugar
1/3 c Melted butter
1/8 t Salt
2 T Milk
2 2/3 T Lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350. Grease two 9" layer pan; dust with flour. Cream butter and sugar together in bowl until thoroughly mixed. Add yolks and beat well.
In separate bowl, stir flour, baking powder and salt together. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to sugar mixture; beat well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
Beat whites until stiff; fold into batter. Pour batter into pans; bake for 30 minutes. Cool in pans on wire rack for 10 minutes, then turn out onto rack; cool completely before frosting.
To make frosting, combine sugar, butter, salt, milk and juice in bowl; beat with mixer until smooth. Frost sides and top of cooled cake.
Variation: To make chocolate frosting, melt 1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate and add to remaining ingredients.

Bánh Bông Lan Trái Cây - Dried Fruitcake - Món Bánh Thơm Ngon - Dễ Làm Cho Mùa Giáng Sinh ????
Diễm chia sẻ cách làm bánh bông lan trái cây của nhà Diễm, món bánh phổ biến trong mỗi dịp giáng sinh. Đây là 1 loại bông lan bơ, được thêm vào trái cây khô và các loại hạt tuỳ thích, được tẩm thêm rượu và bảo quản lâu. Vị bánh béo thơm, kết hợp với trái cây khô chua ngọt, dùng chung với trà nóng hay thức uống nóng ( rượu trái cây, nước trái cây,... ) rất ngon. Bánh ăn còn nóng sẻ xốp mềm bên trong, nếu mình để sang ngày, bánh tươm bơ, mềm béo và thơm hơn nữa. Mình cùng vào bếp làm món bánh này với Diễm nhé!
Nguyên liệu / Ingredients:
Khuôn / Form 21 x 10cm

50g nho khô / 50g raisin ( 1/3 cup )
100g trái cây khô / 100g dried fruit ( 3/4 cup )
100ml rượu trái cây hoặc rum / 100ml dessert wine or rum ( 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp )
3 trứng gà / 3 eggs
125g bơ mềm / 125g softened butter ( 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp )
120g đường / 120g sugar ( 1/2 cup )
1 mcf tinh chất vani / 1 tsp vanilla extract ( 4g )
Vỏ 1 trái cam hoặc chanh / 1 orange or lemon zest
125g bột mì / 125g all purpose flour ( 1 cup )
25g bột hạnh nhân / 25g ground almond ( 3 tbsp )
1 mcf bột nổi / 1 tsp baking powder ( 4g )
1 mc nước trái cây khô / 1 tbsp dried fruit water ( 15ml )
30g bột mì / 30g all purpose flour ( 3 + 3/4 tbsp )
2 mc hạnh nhân cắt lát / 2 tbsp sliced almond
