Please note: I am not a Professional Chef, and just like any other human I make mistakes and don't claim to ever be perfect! (There's only one person who ever was!) I try my best to follow Louie's recipes one to one, but due to the vagueness of a lot of his comment cards, I have to use my best judgement and creative liberty to make them palatable for HUMANS to eat, and, due to Louie's obvious Culinary knowledge, this is how I imagine he would actually cook it in Pikmin. Please try to remember this and be respectful in your comments, this is just a silly video and not meant to be taken seriously! :)

#Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a #holiday that celebrates the date of the #Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of #Puebla during the #Franco-Mexican War. The day, which falls on Thursday, May 5 in 2022, is also known as Battle of Puebla Day. This year marks the 160th anniversary of Cinco de Mayo. While it's a relatively minor holiday in Mexico, the annual #fiesta is an excuse in the United States to indulge in margaritas, cervezas (beer), guacamole and #TACOS.
Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day, a popular misconception. Instead, it commemorates a single battle. In 1861, Benito Juárez—a lawyer and member of the Indigenous Zapotec tribe—was elected president of Mexico. At the time, the country was in financial ruin after years of internal strife, and the new president was forced to default on debt payments to European governments.
Chicano activists rediscovered the holiday and embraced it as a symbol of ethnic pride. But the party-filled Cinco de Mayo that Americans celebrate today didn’t become popular until U.S. beer companies began targeting the Spanish-speaking population in the 1970s and 1980s.
Today, Cinco de Mayo in the U.S. is primarily a celebration of Mexican-American culture, with the largest event in Los Angeles!
