How To make Buckshot Beans/Crockpot
Ingredients
2
cup
dried pinto beans, washed
1
each
onion, chopped
2
each
garlic cloves, minced
1
each
bay leaf
1/2
pound
smoked ham, chopped
2
cup
canned tomatoes, chopped
1/2
cup
bell pepper, chopped
2
teaspoon
chili powder
2
teaspoon
brown sugar
1/2
teaspoon
dry mustard
1/4
teaspoon
oregano
Directions:
Cover beans with water and let soak overnight. Drain beans, discarding soaking water. In crockpot, cover beans with fresh water and add remaining ingredients. Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours, until beans are tender. Taste beans, add salt if necessary (don't add salt at the beginning of cooking time - it will make the beans tough!).

How to Make Succotash
| (770) 924-0144 | How to Make Succotash
Rob tells the Art on the Green crowd in front of his Woodstock restaurant, Freight Kitchen & Tap, how to make succotash.
Rob put a variety of fresh vegetables in a saute pan and toss the warm vegetables in a vinegarette to coat the vegetables. It is simple and very tasty.

Smoked Shotgun Shells
Smoked Shotgun Shells
Smoked Shotgun Shells make a fantastic appetizer or tailgating treat! We have made these with many different fillings and this Summer settled on this recipe that my family and guests loved. It's a very hearty version and it is filled mostly with meat and a little cheese and hatch chilies for a Southwestern flavor profile which we think you will love.
It's key to allow the meat mixture to rest in the pasta tubes in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. We have test 1 hour, 2 and 3 hours as seen in this video and the results are not as good.
