1 c Steel-cut oats
Bring water to a rolling boil. Add salt; then slowly stir in oats. Cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes or until tender. Serve with a pat of butter, milk or cream, and sweeten with honey, natural fruit or syrup. Recipe on back of 24 oz. bag of Arrowhead Mills brand steel-cut oats. Instant Pot (I LOVE my instant pot!)
Organic Steel Cut Oats:
???? Basic recipe for Steel Cut Oats in the Instant Pot:
▫️ 1:2.5 steel cut oats to water ratio (i.e. 2 cups oats will require 5 cups water)
▫️ Manual (high pressure) for 4 mins
▫️ Let the pressure come down naturally (wait for the pin to drop) or you can release the pressure after 10 mins by turning the nozzle to the venting position
▫️ Add any fruit you like at this time (I recommend any combo of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, blueberries and/or apples)
▫️ I like to add toppings right before eating (i.e. ground flax seed, chia, hemp hearts, toasted nuts or banana, but this is up to you!)
▫️ Enjoy!

Use this ratio as a guide to create your ultimate overnight oats. Make 3 for meal prep. They're good for up to 3 days.
Ingredients:
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
½ cup nondairy milk
Optional add-ins:
1/3 cup chopped fruit
Dash of cinnamon
1 tablespoon maple syrup
¼ cup yogurt
