1 1/2 lb Braunschweiger
Onion, diced 2 tb Pickle juice
1 1/2 pk Cream cheese
4 Sweet pickles, diced
3 tb Salad dressing
1/2 pk Cream cheese
Salad dressing Milk Mix all ingredients for Braunschweiger with electric mixer; form into a ball. Chill for 1 hour. Frosting: Cream cheese together with small amount of milk and salad dressing to spreading consistency. Spread over ball and chill for 24 hours. Serve with crackers. Randy Rigg

Throwback Recipe: Classic 1960s Braunschweiger Spread
A Braunschweiger ball/spread is a savory appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. This delicious treat is made by combining Braunschweiger liver sausage with cream cheese, onion, hot sauce, and mayo. The mixture is then rolled into a ball and coated with whipped cream cheese and olives.
Whether you're hosting a party or simply looking for a delicious appetizer, this video will show you how to make a crowd-pleasing Braunschweiger ball that everyone will love.
Recipe:
Ingredients
1 lb. Braunschweiger
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 small/med. onion, minced
2 TBsp Mayo
4 dashes Hot Sauce
Topping:
4 oz. Whipped Cream Cheese
1 jar Pimento Green Olives
Mix, with a hand blender, the Braunschweiger, cream cheese, onion, mayo & hot sauce. Line a bowl with plastic wrap and fill with the mixture. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or more.
Slice olives then Ice the ball with the whipped cream cheese. Cover in olives. Serve with crackers.
