Traditional South African Bobotie at home!
Bobotie is a traditional South African dish, although its origins could be as far back as Ancient Rome! It is a simple comfort dish, using a blend of spices and curry with ground beef, bread, carrots and a milk and egg mixture baked on top. This dish is not spicy, but has a depth and complexity of flavours, served on a yellow rice recipe, and I always have a side of a fruit chutney when I eat this dish. Like all the dishes I prepare, this dish allows you to add or remove things to taste, so share your experience with me when you try it!

How to make Traditional South African BOBOTIE (English) - Kosmeester Kortes
This is my first none-braai video in the English language. I plan to bring the beautiful foods from South Africa to the rest of the world. I am hardly a professional chef, I am just a foodie, who loves to share hearty food in an easy manner to other people with similar interests. To people who wants to make nice, super-tasty food in a super-easy, manner. I believe all meals can be daily experiences, from the humble sandwich to the sit-down dinner with friends, family or own company.
Bobotie is an incredible South African dish, brought to our beloved country by the beloved Cape Malay community. This dish is mildly spicy, super health and enjoyed by all South Africans. The.Cape Malay community is famed for their incredible spicy dishes, including bobotie, Briyani and various other treats, which I also plan to share on this channel. Try this and be blown away!
I will soon share this recipe on my website kosmeester.co.za, which is currently being built.
