Try these cocktails and mocktails at your Super Bowl party
If you’re still planning the menu for your Super Bowl party, these cocktails and a mocktail are sure to be a big hit with party guests.
The mocktail uses Topo Chico Sabores Blueberry with Hibiscus Extract to create a fruity, fresh flavor. It provides a treat for any party guest who wants a tasty drink without the alcohol.
“It’s very much top of the market right now,” said Alex Russell, Tutta Bella mixologist. “Dry January may have ended, but it doesn’t have to.”
Recipe: Blueberry Nojito
Topo Chico Sabores Blueberry with Hibiscus Extract
.5 oz. lime juice (half a lime)
1 bunch muddled mint
Directions: Muddle mint in the bottom of a glass. Add lime juice and ice and pour Topo Chico to the top.
The two cocktails use fresh products from Swire Coca-Cola out of Bellevue, Mexican Coke and Topo Chico Sabores Lime with Mint.
Recipe: Coca-Espresola
1.5 oz. aged rum
.75 oz. Licor 43
1 oz. cold brew concentrate
2 oz. Mexi Coke (or Coke of choice)
Float half and half
Directions: Fill rocks glass with ice. Combine all ingredients and finish with half and half.
Recipe: Topo Lopez
2 oz. tequila reposado
.5 oz. lime juice
1 tsp. Coco Lopez (coconut cream)
Float with Topo Chico Sabores Lime with Mint
Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice (except for the Topo Chico) and pour into a collins glass. Pour Topo Chico Lime & Mint to the top.
“I do love the coconut cream,” Russell said. “It adds a nice little touch to this. I’m also a big fan of Coca-Cola and espresso and throwing a little booze in there for good measure.”
You can find these Topo Chico and Coca-Cola products in Fred Meyer and QFC stores. For more information on game day recipes, visit the Swire Coca-Cola website. To learn more about Super Bowl pizza deals, visit the Tutta Bella website.

Blueberry liqueur is a subtle and delicious drink great for sipping by itself or adding to cocktails. The best news is it's easy and fast to make at home!
You can use frozen berries, which actually have some benefit. Freezing breaks the berries up a little allowing the alcohol easier access during maceration. But I like to pick our own fresh berries, in fact its turned into a bit of a tradition for me.
I prefer to work with a higher ABV/Proof spirit. But this will work with a store-bought vodka as well (adjust the ratios accordingly)
My final ratios:
5 parts strained maceration
1 part liquid honey
1.5 parts simple syrup
(proof down to your prefered ABV/proof. I prefer around 30-35% abv)

Swing Top Jars:
PTFE Tape (to wrap the jar gaskets):
Squeezable Honey:
If anyone has tried making this with dried blueberries like this let me know!
