Berries Brownie | Chocolate Brownie | How To Make Brownies
This recipe for brownies is some next level comfort food. It's so flavourful and heartwarming, my girls can never get enough of it. I hope you all enjoy it just as much ????
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chocolate Mix:
In a double boiler add 1/4 cup Milk and 20gm Dark Chocolate. Stir it till the chocolate completely melts. Double boiler prevents chocolate from burning. Keep the melted chocolate aside till we finish the rest of it.
Brownie Batter:
Take 65gm Condensed Milk and 30gm Butter. Beat till it is light. While beating the batter, gradually add 50gm All-purpose Flour, 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder, 1/8 teaspoon Soda Bi-carb, 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder, 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar, 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder, 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extracts and the melted Dark Chocolate to the mixture. Lastly, add 2-3 tablespoon of Milk to set the consistency.
Now take a mix of some dried Berries, Walnuts and Raisins, dust them with dry flour. Add the dusted berries, walnuts to the batter and mix it. Finally add some Orange zest for a refreshing flavour. Grease the baking tin with butter and dust it with some dry flour, pour the batter in the baking tin, top with some more berries and bake the brownie in a pre-heated oven at 150°C for 20-25 minutes. Insert a toothpick to check if the brownie is properly baked. Cut the sides and serve the brownie with some natural strawberry ice-cream!

These homemade brownies are the perfect combination of cakey and fudgy brownies. They're easy to make and so much better than box mix brownies!
Once your brownies are baked, it's time to top them off with a strawberry cream cheese frosting. This frosting is flavored with strawberry preserves and comes together in about 5 minutes. It's almost too good to be true, but lucky for us, this deliciousness is the real deal!
Once your brownies have cooled and are dressed up with the cream cheese frosting, it's time to decorate! Grab your favorite berry (my favorite combination is strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry) and scatter them across the top of the frosted brownies.
If you want to make your Valentine's Brownies extra, EXTRA special, add a few chocolate shavings across the top!
These frosted berry brownies are perfect for date night in, Galentine's Day, or even Easter! The fresh strawberries make them an ideal choice for a spring party dessert as well.
Here's what you'll need to make them:
For the Brownies:
3/4 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
2 large eggs at room temperature, slightly beaten
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup mixed berries (rinsed and dried) such as sliced strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries
For the Frosting:
1/3 cup unsalted butter room temperature
1 (8 ounces) package of cream cheese room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon strawberry preserves
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch fine sea salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° and have ready a greased, 8x8 square baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe pitcher or bowl, and set aside to cool slightly.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk and set aside.
Add the butter to a large mixing bowl, and stir in the sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, and using a handheld mixer on medium speed (or a sturdy wooden spoon) to mix until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients and with the mixer on low, mix until just combined. Add the batter to baking dish, spread to the edges and smooth over the top. Bake for 26-28 minutes. Remove from the oven, and allow to completely cool.
For the Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting:
Add the cream cheese and butter to the bowl of stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. If you do not have a stand mixer, use a mixing bowl and handheld mixer. Mix on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture has a whipped appearance.
Add the sugar, strawberry preserves, vanilla and salt, and mix once more until combined. Set aside until ready to use.
Once the brownies have cooled, spread on the icing using an offset spatula, and garnish with the berries. Cut into nine squares, serve, and enjoy.
