One of our family's favorite dinner recipes is my Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff. It only takes 25 minutes to make and it's sure to be a hit in your family!
This Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff with Cream of Mushroom Soup is creamy, delicious, and made with light sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, ground beef, and tender egg noodles.

▪️ 1 pound Lean Ground Beef (I use 85/15 or 90/10 Hamburger Meat)

▪️ 3 tbsp Flour

Russian Beef Stroganoff Recipe (with the Whatever Pan) | Best Cookware
Ingredients
• 2 tbsp salted butter, divided
• 225 g/8 oz button mushrooms, sliced
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 450 g/1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thinly
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 cube beef broth
• ½ tsp ground mustard seeds, (or 1 tbsp whole grain mustard)
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• ½ cup sour cream
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp ground black pepper
Method
• In your Whatever Pan, heat 1 tbsp of butter. Saute the mushrooms in the butter over medium high heat for 2 minutes. Remove the mushrooms from the pan and set aside.
• Add the remaining 1 tbsp butter to the pan and heat until melted. Add the onions to the butter and saute for 1-2 minutes.
• Add the beef chunks to a bowl and toss in the flour. Mix well and add to the Whatever Pan. Cook until browned, 2-3 minutes.
• Add the beef broth, ground mustard seeds, and tomato paste to the pan along with the cooked mushrooms.
• Cover and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, until the beef is cooked to your liking.
• Place the sour cream into a small bowl and mix a little of the broth from the skillet with the sour cream to warm it. Pour the warmed sour cream mixture into the saucepan and mix to combine.
• Taste the stroganoff and add the salt and pepper, to taste.
• Serve the Stroganoff with potatoes, rice, or noodles!

Hamburger Stroganoff Recipe
Get the Recipe:
Serve a lightened version of this family favorite. Add a tossed green salad and sautéed red and green bell pepper strips for a satisfying family-friendly meal.
Yield: 6 servings (serving size: about 1/2 cup stroganoff, 2/3 cup pasta, and 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley)
Preparation
1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain and rinse under cold water; drain.
2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef to pan; cook 4 minutes or until browned, stirring to crumble. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms to pan; cook 4 minutes or until most of liquid evaporates, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with flour; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 minute or until slightly thick. Stir in salt and pepper.
3. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and sherry. Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with parsley.

RECIPE
Noodles
1lb Ground Chicken
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp Salt
1) Place your ground chicken and eggs into a blender or food processor and blend for about 2 minutes on low.
2) Place a pan over medium heat and bring about 3 cups of water to a simmer. Season with 2 Tbsp of salt.
3) Using two spoons, drop in quarter sized dollops of your mixture in batches. Cook each batch for 3-4 minutes or until the inside is no longer pink. Drain on a paper towel.
Stroganoff
1lb Ground Beef
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Granulated Garlic
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Cup Cream or Half and Half
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
2 tsp Salt
1) Place a pan over medium high heat and crumble in your ground beef. Cook for about 4 minutes and drain most of the water and fat.
2) Add your heavy cream, sour cream, black pepper, garlic, salt, and worcestershire sauce. Cook for 4-5 minutes or the cream is reduced and coats a spoon.
3) Add your chicken noodles in and combine to coat with the sauce. Serve.
