How To make Beef Chop Suey
1 lb Beef round steak;
1 tb Vegetable oil;
1 ts Sesame oil;
1 tb Low-sodium soy sauce;
3 Celery stalk; thinly sliced
-diagonally 2 md Size onions; sliced
1 c Chicken broth;
2 c Bean sprouts; rinsed
Trim any fat from steak and dice. In a large non-stick skillet or wok, heat oils and stir-fry meat over high heat 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce. Remove meat with a slotted spoon and keep warm. Add celery, onions and broth to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts. Cook 3 minutes more, then return meat and stir to heat. Hi and welcome to my You-tube Channel Exotic Spices. Today I will show you how to make beef Chop-Suey. Beef chop-suey is one of the most healthiest way to get your kids t eat more vegetables. I hope you all enjoy this beef chop-suey recipe as its also one of the old recipes in our family.
Here are the ingredients for Beef Chop-Suey:
1-lbs of chopped beef
1 1/2-cup of green pepper chopped
1 1/2-cup of red pepper chopped
3-medium sized chopped carrots
1 1/2-cup of brocolli
1-cup sliced mushrooms
2-med size bok-choy chopped
salt to taste
1-tbs of pepper
2 -tbs of lemon juice
6-cloves garlic minced
2-tbs of Oyster sauce
1-tbs of mushroom sauce
Sauce:
1- Cup Water
1-tbs oyster sauce
1/4- spoon corn starch
1-garlic minced
pinch of salt
(cook all together till boiling then add into the chop-suey in theend or serve as side option)

Marinating the beef

280g chuck tender - sliced thinly against the grain
2 teaspoons of corn flour
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
0.5 teaspoon of baking soda
2 tablespoons of water
A few dashes of pepper
The rest of the ingredients

7 - 8 slices of young ginger
2 onions - sliced thinly
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
2 tablespoon of dark soya sauce
2 tablespoons of light soya sauce (low sodium)
4 stalks of spring onion
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of Chinese cooking wine (Shaoxing Huatiao Wine)
1 tablespoon of sesame oil

LAY HO MA! It always brings me back to my childhood to sit down with a plate of vegetable chop suey with a bowl of steamy hot rice. Join me in this episode and learn how to cook this quick and easy Chinese chop suey recipe that's better than takeout! Let's begin
Ingredients:
70g broccolini
60g snow peas
1/2 carrot
1/2 red bell pepper
60g baby corn
2 sticks green onion
7 dried shiitakes
1/2 tsp cane sugar
1/2 tsp black rice vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp plantbased oyster sauce
1/2 tsp potato starch
2 tbsp avocado oil
80g bean sprouts
Directions:
1. Chop the broccolini into bite sized pieces
2. Remove the stringy bits from the snow peas and slice half a carrot
3. Roughly chop the red bell pepper and chop the green onion into bite sized pieces
4. Very carefully remove the stalks from the rehydrated shiitake mushrooms and slice in half
5. Make the sauce by combining the cane sugar, black rice vinegar, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, plantbased oyster sauce, and potato starch
6. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium heat. Add in the avocado oil
7. Add and sauté the broccolini and snow peas for about a minute. Then, add and sauté the carrot and red bell pepper for another minute
8. Add the mushrooms and green onion. Sauté for another minute
9. Add the baby corn and bean sprouts. Sauté for another minute
10. Add the sauce and sauté for about 30 seconds. Add a splash of water and sauté for another 30 seconds
