How To make Banana Liqueur
2 md Bananas
1 ts Vanilla extract
3 c Vodka
1 c Sugar Extract (see recipe)
The tastiest bananas will have a bright yellow peel and no discoloured areas which indicate a bruise. Never refrigerate bananas. Mash peeled bananas and add to vodka, cooled sugar syrup, ans vanilla extract. Shake gently and let sit one week. Strain and filter. Let sit longer for additional flavoring, but may be used now. Experiment with cinnamon or nutmeg. Yield: 1 quart Container: Wide mouth quart jar

Black TEA 1 cup
White sugar 400 g
Muscovado sugar 400 g
Water 4.5 liters
Wine yeast 1/2 teaspoon

Make your own Banana Liqueur | using a Homemade Vanilla Simple Syrup !
What's up ya booze-hounds!
We're takin' a little break from infusions this fine Monday and shifting gears to LIQUEURS! Go to your store (or your backyard if you're lucky) and grab some bananas! Liqueurs are spirits with added sweetness. These are great for when you want something with a low ABV to sip on before or after a meal OR you want to modify your favorite cocktail.
✰Let's jump on the LIQUEUR train folks!✰
Banana Liqueur Ingredients:
➭ 12.5 oz ➭ Silver Rum
➭ 2 ➭ Ripe Bananas
➭ 1/4 cup ➭ Dark Brown Sugar
➭ 1/4 cup ➭ Raw Sugar
➭ 1/2 tsp ➭ Vanilla Extract

Dr. Barca's Fluffy Banana is a Smuggler's Cove original cocktail created by bartender Dane Barca. The combination of Cachaça, Giffard banana liqueur, and coconut milk make for a unique and truly original cocktail. This recipe is not available online or in the book, but I do know the ingredients used and I have had this drink at the bar. I did the best I could to recreate it but I'm sure my recipe is not exactly the same as Smuggler's Cove. My recipe is at the very bottom of this description.

The Lorikeet is a riff of a Jungle Bird. A bitter tiki cocktail using rye whisky, banana liqueur and bitters (Peychaud's and Angostura).
Lorikeet Cocktail Recipe:
2 oz Rye Whiskey
1/2 oz Banana Liqueur
1/4 oz Cinnamon Syrup
1 oz Pineapple Juice
6 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
Black Magic #2 is a lovely sipping cocktail that uses Amaro Montenegro as its prime component and Islay Scotch to add nice smoky notes.
Black Magic #2 Recipe:
2 oz Amaro Montenegro
1 oz Islay Single Malt Scotch
1/2 oz Banana Liqueur
2 drops Saline Solution (Can omit or use a few grains of salt)
The Dirty Banana is a lovely blended coffee banana drink.
