1 cup whole bran cereal 2/3 cup milk 1 large banana
mashed 1 egg :
beaten 1/4 cup cooking oil 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup brown sugar -- packed 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cloves In large bowl, stir together cereal, milk and banana. Let stand 2 minutes or until cereal is soft. Add oil and egg; mix well. Stir dry ingredients into bran mixture only until moistened. Spoon into greased muffin cups. Bake at 375F for 25 to 30 minutes. Yields 6 large or 12 normal size muffins.

This Banana Bran Muffins are healthy, super delicious and cam easily be grabbed on the go for a quick notorious breakfast even your kids will love it. Ingredients; 1&1/2 cups rolled oats 1 cup finely chop over ripe banana 1/2 cup neutral oil 2 free range eggs 1/4 cup milk 3 tsp lemon juice 3/4 cup brown 2 tbsp golden syrup 1 tsp vanilla essence or paste 1 cup plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp mixed spice pinch of salt
METHODS; Preheat the oven to 190C. Grease a 12-pan muffin tray or line with paper case. In a non-metallic mixing bowl,mix together the oil,eggs,milk,lemon juice,golden syrup,vanilla,oats and banana to combine evenly. in another bowl,sift together the flour,baking powder,baking soda,cinnamon,mixed spice sugar and salt.Add to the wet mixture and stir to combine evenly - don,t over mix.though.Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tins almost to the top. Bake in the center of the oven for 15-18 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. cool in the tray for a few minutes,then transfer to baking rack to cool.
