1 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla 1 cup Dark corn syrup 1 cup Pecans
coarsely chopped 3 Eggs 1 Pie shell :
unbaked 2 tablespoons Butter -- melted Combine sugar and corn syrup in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Beat eggs at medium speed til blended. Gradually add hot sugar mixture to eggs, beating constantly. Stir in butter, vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell; bake at 350 for 40 min.

Traditional Pecan Pie - Simple, Old Fashioned Recipe - Perfect for Holiday Meals
Traditional Pecan Pie
1 pie crust 2 1/2 cups pecans, quartered 3 eggs, beaten 4 Tablespoons melted butter 3/4 cup light brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons corn syrup (light or dark) 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon Redi-Whip or vanilla ice cream
Preheat oven to 350°.
Fit crust into pie plate.
Place pecan pieces in bottom of crust. In a large bowl, whisk together the next eight ingredients. Pour over the pecans. Pecans will float to the top. Cover the edges of the crust.
Bake 50 minutes until firm around the edges and barely jiggly in the center. 
Allow the pie to come to room temperature sitting on your counter, then refrigerate for two hours or more to allow the pie filling to firm up.
