How To Make Persian Inspired Meatloaf
1kg lamb mince
1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
1 brown onion, finely diced
1 potato, grated
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
2 tsp crushed garlic
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 eggs
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 cups tomato ketchup for glaze
Meatloaf
Bit heavy handed with the ketchup at the end there! ???? Oops!!
Anyway, blowing right past that: Meatloaf is so much more than just a giant hunk of ground beef in a loaf shape! It should ooze with flavour, be moist and tender yet not crumble apart when sliced. And the caramelised glaze is the crowning glory!
Try this meatloaf recipe once, and you’ll never use another again!
