How To make Apple Something
-DIANE HOFFMAN (PXFB75B) 1 c Prepared inst van pudding
1/4 c Applesauce
1/4 c Water
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 ts Salt
1 tb Sugar
4 c Flour
1 tb Dry yeast
Process on "dough" cycle. The filling would be 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter (I use 1/4 cup) topped with 1 cup brown sugar mixed with 3 TBS cinnamon. (I add raisins and nuts.) The topping is 4 oz. cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter or margarine (I skip this) 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar and a teaspoon or two of milk. I've done these both "full fat" and "reduced fat." It's hard to tell the difference, so we go "reduced," including using light (Neufchatel) cream cheese. I've tried ALL the fat free cream cheeses and NONE of them work. JUDITH PENZINER (GGMB18A)JUDITH PENZINER (GGMB18A) Happy baking! Judy

My fritters have a touch of lemon inside and in the glaze to wake the flavors up but you can also roll in cinnamon sugar if that’s your jam.

RECIPE:
5 cortland apples, peeled
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp cinnamon
1-1/4 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup vegan butter or coconut oil
1/3 cup brown sugar
1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).
2. Chop apples into bite-size pieces. Add to a mixing bowl with 1 tbsp brown sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, combine oats, 1/3 cup brown sugar and vegan butter and use a form to cut in the butter so it makes a crumbly texture (see video for reference).
4. Add apples to an oven-safe casserole dish, then top with oat topping. Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until top is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice-cream.

Amazing Apple Tart Recipe
This beautiful Apple Tart tastes as good as it looks! Made with freshly sliced apples and a homemade crust that’s flaky and buttery, this elegant apple tart is a classic dessert. It’s so simple yet so delicious and full of fall flavors, thanks to the apples and cinnamon. It may look complicated due to the shingling of the apple slices, but it’s surprisingly easy, but that’ll be our secret as you bring out this dessert to impress your guests. This apple tart is my go-to recipe whenever I need something easy but fancy-looking. The crust comes together quickly with a food processor, and the apples don’t require a ton of prep work. You can even prepare the tart crust ahead of time.
