1 1/2 teaspoons butter or margarine
1 small apple, peeled, cored & cut into rings
6 teaspoons sugar, divided
1 egg -- separated
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon all-purpose flour
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apple rings; sprinkle with 2 teaspoons sugar. Cook until tender, turning once. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolk, lemon peel and vanilla for 1 minute. In another mixing bowl, beat egg white until stiff peaks form; fold in flour and remaining sugar. Fold into egg yolk mixture. Place apple rings in a greased 2-cup baking dish. Spread egg mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes or

Puff pastry with Apples | Easy peasy lemon squeezy
This one is famous on my instagram page that I wanted to share with you.
This is my go-to very easy and simple dessert when I don’t have time.
You will make this one over and over again because it is to easy and to tasty not to make it.
Ingredients
2 apples
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 roll puff pastry (vegan)
Coconut oil for the baking tin
Little bit of oat milk
Preheat oven on 200 degrees celsius.
Peel & cut the apples in small pieces. Add the cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice. Mix it all together.
Take a baking tin and grease the sides. Open your puff pastry inside the tin. Pour in the apples and spread it evenly.
Now close one side gently and cover the other side. Gently press the sides to each other.
Cut the sides when it is hanging out of the baking tin. You don’t want the extra to fall over.
Brush oat milk on top of the puff pastry. That is how you can get a brown/golden glow. Inside of using an egg. Sprinkle extra sugar to your liking.
Put the pastry in the oven for about 20/25 minutes. Check for a golden crust.
Let it cool off and enjoy.

???? Lemon Custard Cream Puff Pastry Ingredients: Makes 12 Puff Pastry
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup (40g) sugar
3 Tbsp (20g) corn starch
1 cup (230ml) milk
zest of 1 lemon
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 box of store bought puff pastry (2 sheets)
powdered sugar (optional)
???? Lemon Custard Cream Puff Instructions:
1. In a sauce pan, add egg yolk, sugar, corn starch and mix. Add in milk, lemon zest, lemon juice and mix well. Move the sauce pan to stove and cook on a medium heat until custard thickens. Cover the custard with plastic wrap and set aside.
2. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).
3. Using a pizza cutter, cut the puff pastry in 6 pieces. Take the first piece, make 6 slits on one side and brush with butter on non cut side. Fold the sheet in half and scoop some lemon custard cream and spread. Fold and secure all sides by pressing them together (must watch video tutorial).
4. Transfer the pastries to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each pastry with little water and sprinkle some sugar on top.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).
