Apple Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
Pie crust: 1 ready-made or homemade
Green Apples: 6-7, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
Cinnamon: 2 1/2 tbsp
Unsalted Butter: 8 tbsp
All-purpose Flour: 1 tbsp
Corn Starch: 2 tbsp
Water: 1/2 cup
Granulated Sugar: 1 cup
For the egg wash: 1 yolk mixed with 1 Tbsp water and 1 tsp sugar
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Apple Filling: In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir continuously to create a paste. Pour in water, sugar, and cinnamon, and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the apples, reduce heat, and let simmer until the apples are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
Thicken the Mixture: Sprinkle in the cornstarch and mix until the filling thickens slightly.
Pie Assembly: Roll out your pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the apple filling into the crust, ensuring even distribution.
Top Crust: Roll out a second pie crust and lay it over the filling. Trim any excess crust and crimp the edges to seal. Cut a few slits on the top crust to allow steam to escape. Brush the top with the egg-wash mixture for a golden finish.
Baking: Place the pie in the oven and bake for 45-55 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the apple filling is bubbling.
Cooling: Allow the pie to cool for at least an hour before serving. This ensures the filling sets nicely.

I’ve made this No Bake Apple Dessert a few times already during this holiday season it was a total crowd pleaser!!! I received so many compliments! Want to know my secret shortcut? I use canned apple pie filling! But shh don’t tell anyone!????. And if you are a apple pie lover you are going to love this dessert!
No Bake Apple Dessert
Ingredients
18 graham crackers sheets (2 sleeves)
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
2 x 21 oz canned apple pie filling
8 oz bar cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
16 oz cool whip or fresh whipped cream
Directions
Crush graham cracker crumbs in a food processor or blender.
Combine gram cracker crumbs with 1/2 cup sugar and stir in melted butter. Reserve about a heaping tablespoon of the crumbs for later. Transfer the rest onto a 9 x 13” baking dish and press down to form a crust. Store in the fridge while working on the other layers.
Combine softened cream cheese with 1 cup powdered sugar. In increments fold in Cool Whip or fresh whipped cream.
To assemble, pour canned apple pie filling over graham cracker crust. Spoon cream cheese/whip cream mixture over the apple filling and spread evenly. Sprinkle over reserved graham cracker crumbs. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
Notes
-Fresh whipped cream, beat 16 oz (2 cups) of heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup powdered sugar with an electric mixer. Start at low speed then increase speed to high and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Do not over mix!
-This dessert can be prepared the night before.

Keep stirring
Cook until thick consistency
Keep it in the fridge until set

Peel off

Saute for 7-10 mins

FOR THE CRUST
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
pinch of kosher salt
1 c. unsalted butter, softened
FOR THE CHEESECAKE
3 8-oz. blocks cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. sugar, plus 2 tablespoons, divided
3 large eggs
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
pinch of kosher salt
3 granny smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
FOR THE STREUSEL TOPPING
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Caramel, for serving
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 9-x-13” baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Make crust: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add butter and use your hands, or a pastry cutter, to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it’s crumbly and moist. Press into prepared pan and set aside.
3. Make filling: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluff. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well between each addition. Mix in vanilla and salt. Pour over the crust.
4. In a small bowl, toss together apples, 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
5. Make streusel topping: In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, sugar, flour and oats, then cut in butter with a fork or pastry cutter.
6. Scatter apples on top of the cheesecake mixture, then top with oat mixture.
7. Bake until the cheesecake is only slightly jiggly in the center, about 55 minutes. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
8. Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce and slice into squares.
