You can make it in under 60 seconds, use it in coffee or matcha, and use it as a topping on your ice cream? Count me in. A lot of syrup recipes require you to boil water on the stove and reduce the syrup down but this recipe can be made in one jar and with one whisk. What would you use this sauce for?

- 1/4c cocoa powder
- 1/2c sugar
- 1/2tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1/3c hot water

INGREDIENTS:
- 4 oz hot coffee
- 2 oz Irish whiskey
- 2 oz heavy cream
- 1 tsp dark brown sugar or demerara syrup

DIRECTIONS
1. Heat treat the glass with hot water. This is simply adding hot water to the cocktail glass so that it does not leach heat from the cocktail.
2. Prepare your hot coffee.
3. Whip some heavy cream so that it begins to thicken - to the point where it can stay as a drop on your finger. We don't want whipped cream, but we also dont want straight cream - we want somewhere in between.
4. Empty the hot water from the glass.
5. Add the sugar or syrup to the glass and add about an ounce of hot coffee. Then, using a bar spoon, stir until the sugar has dissolved into the coffee.
6. Add the whiskey.
7. Continue to add coffee until you have a gap about an 1/2.5 cm from the top, stirring as you go.
8. Add the cream to the top by means of a squeeze bottle, or by pouring it over the back of a spoon so that it slowly pours into the top of the cocktail.
9. Serve and enjoy!

There are times when you just do not want a cold drink with ice.
Be it in rainy weather, winter, after dinner, or whenever -
Italian coffee cocktail is a delightful drink that can be enjoyed anytime.
I think you will agree -Amaretto is great tasting, (as evidenced by the near-empty bottle in the video).
It is very easy to make - 3 ingredients besides the whipped cream.

ITALIAN COFFEE INGREDIENTS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.25 Disaronno Amaretto liqueur
1.25 Caffe Borghetti Coffee liqueur
hot black coffee
whipped cream topping
crushed almonds

ITALIAN COFFEE COCKTAIL DIRECTIONS
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fill Irish coffee mug with hot water and set aside beforehand to warm,
make fresh, hot coffee, take the glass- after dumping hot water out
add Amaretto & coffee liqueur, then add coffee 2-3 ounces leaving space
for whipped cream to be added to the top of the glass.
sprinkle crushed almonds to whipped cream.
drink thru the whipped cream & drink in the experience!.

ALMOND FLAVORED WHIPPED CREAM
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Add 16 oz. (pint) container Heavy whipping cream in mixing bowl.
add 1 cup powdered sugar
add 3-4 drops vanilla extract
add 7-8 drops almond extract
whip together until frothy.

serve with biscotti cookie for an added treat
