FULL RECIPE
IKEA ALMOND CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
For the cake layers:
200 g (7 oz) almonds
2 tbsp powdered sugar
5 egg whites
pinch of salt
100 g (3,5 oz) granulated sugar
For the frosting:
5 egg yolks
1 tbsp vanilla extract
100 g (3,5 oz) granulated sugar
200 ml heavy cream
150 g (5 oz )unsalted butter
For the decoration:
100 g (3,5 oz) almond petals
PREPARATION:
Prepare two 24 cm diameter molds with baking paper. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grind almonds with powdered sugar. Powdered sugar helps to ground almonds into dry flour.
Whip the egg whites and pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Add the sugar and continue whipping until the sugar is completely dissolved. Gently fold the almond flour into the egg whites, mix gently. Divide the batter in half and pour into prepared two molds. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
For the frosting, in a saucepan mix heavy cream, vanilla extract and granulated sugar. Warm the mixture until sugar dissolved. Beat the egg yolks and pour into the warm mixture. Continue to heat while stirring constantly for about 7-8 minutes. Dont let it boil, it should steam, but not bubble. Cover the cream with plastic wrap and leave to cool to room temperature. Butter (room temperature) beat until smooth. Add the chilled cream and mix well.
For the decoration, fry the almonds petals on a dry pan. To assemble, put the first layer of cake on a serving plate, then spread a half of the frosting. Put the second layer of cake on top and remaining frosting. Sprinkle the almonds petals. Set the cake into the refrigerator for several hour or overnight.

SASTOJCI:
Za kore:
200 g badema
2 žlice šećera u prahu
5 bjelanjaka
prstohvat soli
100 g šećera
Za kremu:
200 ml vrhnja za šlag
1 žlica ekstrakta vanilije
100 g šećera
5 žumanjaka
150 g maslaca
Za dekoraciju:
100 g listića badema
PRIPREMA:
Pripremite dva kalupa promjera 24 cm sa papirom za pečenje. Zagrijte pećnicu na 175°C.
Sameljite bademe zajedno sa šećerom u prahu. Šećer u prahu pomaže samljeti bademe u suho bademovo brašno.
Umutite bjelanjke i prstohvat soli. Dodajte šećer i nastavite miksati dok se šećer potpuno ne otopi. Dodajte bademovo brašno u bjelanjke, lagano ih umiješajte pomoću špatule. Podijelite tijesto na pola i izlijte u pripremljena dva kalupa. Pecite 25 minuta u zagrijanoj pećnici na 175°C.
Za kremu, pomiješajte vrhnje za šlag, ekstrakt vanilije i šećer. Zagrijte smjesu dok se šećer ne otopi. Umutite žumanjke i ulijte u zagrijanu smjesu. Nastavite grijati uz neprestano miješanje oko 7-8 minuta. Ne dozvolite da kuha, trebao bi se samo grijati, ali ne sa mjehurićima. Kremu prekrijte prozirnom folijom i ostavite da se ohladi na sobnoj temperaturi. Maslac (sobne temperature) izmiksajte, postepeno dodajte ohlađenu kremu i sjedinite.
Za dekoraciju, pržite listiće badema na suhoj tavi. Stavite prvu koru na stalak za tortu, a zatim rasporedite polovicu kreme. Stavite drugu kloru, namažite ostatak kreme i zagladite. Pospite listićima badema. Stavite tortu u hladnjak na nekoliko sati ili preko noći.

My take on the Spanish almond cake or famously known as tarta de Santiago. This is a cake from Galicia and it is super easy to make, with only 3 main ingredients. I always feel this type of cake is just perfect for the holiday season. On top of that, this flourless cake is also a gluten free cake.

How to make the yummy Almond Custard Cake.
Here's what you'll need:
CUSTARD:
5 egg yolks
1 can sweetened condensed milk (397g)
1/4 cup milk 60ml (any milk you prefer)
1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
2 tbsp butter
CHIFFON CAKE:
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar (65g)
1/4 cup oil (50ml)
1/4 cup almond milk (60ml)
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract (5ml)
3/4 cup all purpose flour (95g)
1/4 cup almond flour (25g)
1/2 teaspoon salt (3g)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder (3g)
4 eggwhites and a half a teaspoon of lemon
1/3 cup sugar (65g)
1 and ½ cups toasted sliced almonds

Swedish Almond Cake Recipe | Ikea Almond Cake
Swedish almond cake (Mandeltårta) is a cake that is made with two layers of almond meringue cake, in between there is a rich cream and all the cake is covered with toasted sliced almonds, which gives the cake its beautiful look. This cake is also known as Ikea almond cake as Ikea selling this cake at their stores. This beautiful cake is light, not too sweet, easy to make, gluten free and perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.

Ingredients:
For the cake:
4 Eggs whites
Pinch Salt
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. (75g) Sugar
140g almonds or ground almonds
For the cream:
4 Egg yolks
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. (75g) Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
100ml Cream
1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp (130g) Butter, softened
For decoration:
Sliced almond
Directions:
1. Make the cake: preheat oven to 170C (340F). Grease two 8-inch (20cm) round cake pans with butter, line bottom with parchment paper. Grease the parchment as well, set aside.
2. In a food processor, process the almonds into fine crumbs. You also can use store bought ground almonds.
3. In a large clean bowl, place egg whites and pinch of salt. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until foamy, then gradually add the sugar, beat until stiff peak form.
4. Gradually fold ground almonds into the meringue. Do not over fold. Divide the batter between prepared pans.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool.
6. Make the cream: in a bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar and set aside.
7. In a small saucepan bring the cream to a gentle simmer. Gradually pour hot cream into the egg yolk mixture while constantly whisking. Transfer the mixture back into the saucepan and cook until thicken, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract and stir, transfer the mixture into a bowl, cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
8. In a large bowl beat softened butter. Gradually add chilled cream and whisk until combined. Add 2-3 tablespoons at the time.
9. Place 1 cake layer on a place or a cake stand, the spread a layer of cream, then top with the second layer cake. Spread the cream on top and sides of the cake.
10. Decoration: toast almond flakes on a dry pan, allow them to cool. Then, decorate the side and top of the cake with toasted almond flakes.
11. Keep the cake in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.

French Almond Cake Recipe| Moist & Delicious| Incredibly Easy
This French Almond Cake is amazingly delicious and incredibly easy.
You just need a couple of ingredients from pantry, yet the almond topping gives it a professional look.
