Honey Almond Sweet Quiche
Trying to decide between a savory or sweet breakfast? Let us fulfill your breakfast dreams of both. Rich, creamy, fluffy filling topped with a buttery toasted almond crunch – this sweet quiche is a true treat meant for everyone to indulge in, including any gluten-free eaters.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup egg whites
- 1/3 cup cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup whole milk plain yogurt
- ½ cup slivered or sliced raw almonds, plus more for garnish
- ¼ cup Nature Nate’s pure honey, plus more for serving
- ½ Tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp almond extract
- 1 pre-made pie crust or gluten-free crust
Directions:
In a skillet, melt butter, and add the sliced almonds to toast on medium low heat, stirring constantly so almonds don’t burn. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
In a blender, combine the rest of the ingredients, and blend until smooth. Spread the almonds on the bottom of the quiche crust. Pour the egg mixture on top, and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and the quiche is firm. (If the top cooks faster than the center, place a piece of aluminum foil gently over the top to prevent burning.) Remove and allow to cool before cutting into slices. Serve with drizzled honey and extra almond slices if desired.

✅Ingredients
• 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
• 1 small sweet onion, diced
• 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
• 2 cloves minced garlic
• 10 ounces chopped frozen spinach, thawed and drained
• 6 ounces crumbled feta cheese
• 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
• 5 large eggs
• ½ cup milk
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9 inch deep dish pie plate.
2️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add in onion and mushroom and saute until softened, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add in garlic and cook 1 minute more. Stir in spinach, feta, and cheddar cheese. Spoon mixture into the prepared pie plate.
3️⃣ In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour egg mixture over the spinach mixture in the prepared pie plate.
4️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until eggs are set. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Low Carb Sweetener
These are the ingredients used in the recipe. Note that an egg can be used in place of the gelatin and water.
Ingredients
2 cups almond flour blanched works best
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons butter flavored coconut oil softened or melted
1 tablespoon grass-fed gelatin
1 tablespoon lukewarm water
2 tablespoons hot water
2 tablespoons low carb sweetener (omit for savory)

CRUSTLESS QUICHE RECIPE
(makes 8 slices)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped (75g)
1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped (50g)
1/2 cup sweet potato, grated (75g)
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated, or any other melting cheese (100g)
5 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese (225g)
1/2 cup milk (120ml)
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 cup ground oats, or oat flour (25g)
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per slice):
158 calories, fat 8.6g, carb 7.9g, protein 12.3g
Preparation:
In a greased pan pan (I use 8-inch or 20cm cast iron skillet) layer down all the veggies and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
In a blender add 5 eggs, cottage cheese, milk, mustard, salt, black pepper, ground nutmeg and ground oats. Blend until really smooth.
Pour the mixture over the veggies and move around with a fork to evenly distrubute the filling.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350F (180C) for 35 minutes.
Let it cool for 20 minutes, then slice into 8 equal pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
