How To make Yummy Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Crisco shortening
1 c Lightly-packed brown sugar
1/2 c Granulated sugar
1 Egg
1/2 c Plain yogurt
1/4 c Liquid honey
2 ts Vanilla
2 c Chocolate chips
1 c Chopped nuts; optional
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Grease baking sheet with
Crisco Shortening. 2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
3. Cream Crisco Shortening, sugars, egg, yogurt, honey and
vanilla in a large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer just until smoothly blended. 4. Add flour mixture on low speed, mixing until smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. 5. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet.
6. Bake at 375F (190C) for 9-11 minutes, or until set and
very lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes, then remove to cooling rack.: About 5 dozen cookies. Freezing: ExcellentVariations: 1. Peanut butter chips and peanuts.
2. Butterscotch chips.

???? Yogurt Cookies Ingredients: Makes about 15-16 cookies
1 egg
3 Tbsp plus 3 Tbsp for dipping
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cup (150 ml) plain yogurt (greek yogurt is good too)
1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil
3 to 3 1/4 cups flour (350-400g) depends on dough consistency
1 tsp baking powder
???? Yogurt Cookies Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).
2. In a mixing bowl, add egg, sugar salt and mix. Add in yogurt, oil and mix.
3. Add in flour in three parts, check the dough consistency as mixing in.
4. Transfer the dough to a work surface, knead the dough by hand until form a soft dough.
5. Roll out the dough to a 8 inch long and cut in half. Roll out to 1.5 inches thick and 1.5 inches in width. Cut the dough in 15 equal size. Roll into balls and flatten slightly. (watch tutorial)
6. Dip the cookies in sugar and place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use rim of a cup to make 3 lines.
7. Bake in the oven for 22-25 minutes or until golden.
8. Transfer to a wire rack to cool down.
9. Try the cookies with coffee, tea and your favorite jam.

1 Cup flour (heat treated to kill bacteria, microwave for 15 seconds or pop it in the oven for a few minutes!)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 Tbs white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 Tbs milk
chocolate chips
1. Heat treat flour
2. Combine butter, and sugars into a mixing bowl and mix until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and salt. Slowly add milk.
3. Fold in chocolate chips and ENJOY!
