2 c Buttermilk complete
Pancake mix 2 tb Sugar
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1 1/2 c Water
1 c Thinly sliced strawberries
1 8-oz carton strawberry
Or vanilla lowfat yogurt Heat griddle or skillet to 375 F. Grease lightly with oil. In medium bowl, combine pancake mix, sugar, cinnamon and water; stir just until large lumps disappear. Fold in strawberries. For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook 1-1 1/2 minutes, turning when edges look cooked and bubbles begin to break on surface. Continue to cook 1-1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Spoon yogurt over each serving. If desired, garnish with additional strawberries. 6 servings (12 pancakes). Per serving: calories 200; protein 5g; carb 44g; fiber 2g; fat 1g (saturated); cholesterol 3 mg; sodium 560 mg; potassium 210 mg; exchanges: 2 starch, one fruit.

Strawberry Sauce is prepared with fresh strawberries or we can also make with frozen berries too. In summer we get loads of strawberries when we go for picking . We think we can finish all the berries but sometimes it may not be possible to consume. At that time this is the best thing to ave upto 6 months with out spoiling.
Ingredients :

Strawberries - 1/2 lb
Sugar - 4TBsp
Lemon Juice - 1TBsp
Preparation :
1. Cut berries into small pieces.
2. Add 2TBsp water in a pan so that berries wont burn.
3. Add strawberries,Sugar,Lemon Juice and let it boil.
4. Stir Occasionally and cook till it becomes thick.
5. If you want smooth sauce just blend all together with hand blender or mixie.
6. Serve with Icecream, Yogurt, Pancakes, Juices, milkshakes or any desired dessert.

Recipe - Pancakes with Yogurt Topping
INGREDIENTS:
●2 cups Original Bisquick mix
●1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
●1 cup milk
●1 teaspoon vanilla
●2 eggs
●2 containers (6 oz each) Yoplait Original 99% Fat Free French vanilla yogurt
●1/2 cup strawberry or other flavor fruit preserves

Ingredients:
500 gm (1 pound) strawberries
2 tbsp sugar, divided
100 gm (1 cup) digestive biscuits or butter cookie
2 tbsp melted butter
200 ml low fat cream
90 gm (2/3 cup) fine sugar or powdered sugar
500 gm (1 1/2 cups) thick yogurt*
2 tbsp strawberry preserve*
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder or cardamom powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
6 glasses with slender stems to assemble the dessert
Method:
- Wash, hull and chop the strawberries.
- Sprinkle 1 tbsp sugar over them and toss them around a bit. Allow to rest.
- Place the biscuits in a zip lock pouch, seal and pulverize to a powder with the help of a rolling pin.
- Add the biscuit crumbs in a bowl and add in the remaining sugar and the melted butter.
- Mix the ingredients with your hands until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, add the hung curd, cream and powdered sugar and whisk the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the strawberry preserve (You could use any jam or preserve. And if it is thick, then cook it with a little water over a medium flame to make it runny)
- Add the grated nutmeg and the vanilla extract and beat all the ingredients well until they are all well incorporated with the yogurt.
- Now that we have the ingredients ready, lets begin to assemble.
- Place 2 tbsp yogurt in a glass.
- Sprinkle the biscuit crumbs over the yogurt.
- Put in a few chopped berries.
- Spoon some more yogurt over the strawberries and sprinkle the crumbs over it.
- Top it up with the strawberries.
- Repeat the process for the remaining glasses.
For hung curd:
- Place 800 gm yogurt in a cheesecloth or a muslin cloth over a strainer, with a bowl underneath to collect excess water. Drain the whey for 3 to 4 hours, to get 500 gm thick yogurt.
