Vegan Chopped Liver Made with Mushrooms (Easy Mushroom Pâté)
Vegan mock chopped liver is a weird thing to say, isn't it? But it is delicious and simple to make. Basically, it's a mushroom walnut pate, but has been known as mock chopped liver or vegetarian chopped liver forever.
It's funny to make a grey dip on purpose, but I ate the whole thing on crackers the next day. It would make a great sandwich or bagel spread as well.
You could even chop up some cooked Just Egg on top since the original is often served with chopped hard-boiled eggs. Or you could toss diced silken tofu in kala namak and make it taste eggy that way.
