This TUNA MELT transforms a humble food into a delicious meal fit for a King. TUNA is not only delicious, but has many health benefits. TUNA MELTS can be a spur of the moment nutritious meal and can be sided well with potato salad, chips of your choice, pickles or fruit. TUNA MELTS can be served hot and cheesy open faced or as a sandwich close faced with ingredients most people have in their homes like tomatoes, cheese, bread, onions, celery, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard and pepper. My recipe shows you how to create a delicious meal using ingredients in a step by step way.
This is one of my go to meals when preparation time is limited and I still want to provide a delicious nutritious meal, so in our house in my kitchen my TUNA MELTS are my answer to a delicious meal that is quick and easy.
INGREDIENTS
18 oz. Albacore Tuna packed in water
1/2 C. finely chopped celery
1/4 C. finely chopped red onion
1/2 C. mayonnaise
3 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
2 Tbsp minced Italian parsley
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp Dijon mustard
pepper (to your liking)
salt (to your liking)
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Mild Cheddar Cheese (grated approx. 1 &1/2 Cups)
Firm white sandwich bread (4 large slices)

potato chips

36oz Garlic & Herb Pasta Sauce (use a high quality sauce)
16oz spaghetti
1lb ground beef
1lb mild Italian sausage
white onion
bell pepper
garlic cloves
green onions
salt
pepper
8oz sour cream
5oz cottage cheese
4oz cream cheese (room temperature)
grated parmesan cheese
16oz mozzarella cheese
dried parsley (garnish)

✅Ingredients
• 12 ounces egg noodles
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/2 white onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup flour
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups milk
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 cups frozen peas
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 pound cooked, diced chicken
• 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
• 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
• 2-3 teaspoons olive oil
✅Instructions
1️⃣ 00:00:10 - Preheat oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease a 9x13 pan. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and pour pasta to prepared pan.
2️⃣ 00:00:36 - Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add in onion and saute 5 to 7 minutes, until softened. Stir in garlic and flour and cook 1 minute. Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
3️⃣ 00:01:25 - Once mixture has thickened, stir in peas, cheddar cheese, and chicken. Turn off the heat and stir until cheese has melted. Pour over pasta in the 9x13 pan.
4️⃣ 00:02:09 - In a small bowl, use a fork to mix together crushed crackers, parmesan, and olive oil. Sprinkle over the pasta.
5️⃣ 00:02:57 - Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, until crackers are lightly browned. Serve hot.
