How to Make Easy Tuna Patties
In this video I'll show you how to prepare healthy tuna patties, and all that in under 30 minutes, using a few basic ingredients.
These tuna cakes are a great way to use canned tuna. They're so cheap to make and taste delicious.

First, I'm going to show you how to shape your tuna cakes in three different ways. (Bonus tip: what to do with leftover tuna oil.)
Also, for this recipe, you can use any canned fish you prefer, or any leftover baked fish.
Next is my advice on how to cook patties, there's a good reason why cooking temperature is important here.
At the end of the video you'll find 3 additional recipes on how to prepare quick healthy dips you can serve with them. These are: no-mayo tartar sauce, easy guacamole and olive oil garlic aioli.

EASY TUNA PATTIES RECIPE
(Makes 8 patties)
Ingredients:
2 cans (5 oz - 140g) tuna, drained
2 eggs
1/3 cup red onion, diced (50g)
1/3 cup carrot, grated (35g)
1/2 cup quick oats (45g)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3-4 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per pattie):
168 calories, fat 10.3g, carb 4.6g, protein 14g
Preparation:
In a large bowl, stir all the ingredients together, until well combined.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into about eight 1/2 inch thick patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, over medium heat. Fry patties until golden brown and crisp on the outside, about 4 minutes per side.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Step 1: Tuna Burgers
Ingredients:
2 cans (280 grams) tuna packed in olive oil
100 grams oatmeal
3 eggs
25 grams leek
1/2 of red onion
3 cloves garlic
15 grams curly-leaf parsley
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp chili flakes
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
2 tbsp olive oil
Step 2: Assemble Tuna Sandwiches
Ingredients:
9 tuna burgers
9 whole wheat soft buns
220 grams gherkin cucumber pickles
9 tsp olives or yogurt mayonnaise
salad/vegetable of your choice

These healthy tuna patties are high in protein, low carb, KETO and they are really easy to make. The perfect meal for those who are on a diet, a post-workout meal or just someone who avoids carbohydrates.

Healthy Tuna Sandwich:
Lentil Patties:
Ingredients:
2 cans Tuna, drained
1 Onion, chopped
2 Garlic cloves, minced (optional)
2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped
Lemon zest
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon Cumin
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
2 Eggs, beaten
4-6 tablespoons (g) Almond flour/low carb flour
2-3 tablespoons Olive oil
Dipping sauce:
150g Yogurt
1 tablespoon Dill, chopped
1-2 tablespoons Pickles, Chopped
Directions:
1. Open two cans of tuna and drain the oil/water.
2. Transfer drained tuna onto a mixing bowl. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon zest, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, eggs and mix until combined.
3. Add almond flour and mix until combined. Form into patties.
4. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat. add the patties into the pan and fry until golden, about 3-4 minutes, flip and fry until golden.
5. Make the dipping sauce: in a small bowl, mix yogurt, chopped dill and chopped pickles.
6. Serve and enjoy.
Notes:
• No make the patties healthier you can bake the patties in preheated 180C (350F) oven for 15-20 minutes.
• You can serve the patties with any dipping sauce that you like.
