The recipe is below:
BITTER MELON STEAMBOAT WITH PORK
1 lb. ground pork
2 bitter melon
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon chicken soup base
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon Chinese oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 egg
Clean bitter melon in cold water. Cut in half lengthwise. Use a spoon top scrape out the middle of the bitter melon.
In a mixing bowl, put the ground pork, salt, soy sauce, chicken soup base, sesame oil, Chinese oyster sauce, cornstarch and egg. Mix all the ingredients with a fork.
Scoop the ground pork mixture into the middle of the hollowed out bitter melon. Fill each half of bitter melon with 3 to 4 oz. of ground pork. Put the bitter melon halves in a dish.
Bring a pan of water to a boil. Put the dish of bitter melon in the pan. cover with a lid. Steam bitter melon for 20 minutes or until the pork is fully cooked. Be sure to serve with hot, steamed rice. Enjoy!

????材料:
苦瓜 1條 400克
絞碎豬肉 300克
豆豉 1湯匙
蒜頭 2粒
薑適量
澱粉1湯匙
老抽1茶匙
糖1/2茶匙
鹽、油、胡椒粉適量
????做法:
1️⃣ 豬肉下少許薑汁、胡椒粉、適量鹽、1/2茶匙糖、1茶匙老抽、1湯匙澱粉和少許油醃製。
2️⃣ 苦瓜切成圓筒,用小刀刮除苦瓜的籽和白色的膜,把豬肉釀入苦瓜圈中。
3️⃣ 熱鍋下油,煎香苦瓜兩面至金黃色.
4️⃣ 下蒜頭和豆豉爆香,加入適量的熱水,小火炆30分鐘,如要更腍炆45分鐘。
5️⃣ 盛出苦瓜,鍋內原汁勾芡,淋上苦瓜面。

苦瓜又名涼瓜、半生瓜,含豐富維他命A、C、E、鐵、鎂、鉀、葉酸和類胡蘿蔔素等。《本草綱目》記載,苦瓜味苦性寒,無毒,除邪熱,解勞乏,清心明目。

????Cooking Directions:
1️⃣ Marinate the minced pork with a small amount of ginger juice, white pepper powder, salt as needed, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and a little oil.
2️⃣ Cut the bitter gourd into cylindrical pieces and use a small knife to scrape out the seeds and white membrane. Stuff the bitter gourd rings with the seasoned pork.
3️⃣ Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry the bitter gourd on both sides until golden brown.
4️⃣ Add garlic and fermented black beans to the pan and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in enough hot water and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, or 45 minutes for a softer texture.
5️⃣ Remove the stuffed bitter gourd from the pan and thicken the sauce with cornstarch. Pour the sauce over the bitter melon and serve.
