How To make Smoked Salmon& Dill Waffles
4 tb Unsalted butter
1 3/4 c All-purpose flour
2 tb Double-acting baking powder
1 t Salt
1/4 ts Freshly ground black pepper
2 c Milk
2 lg Eggs
5 oz Nova Scotia-style smoked
-salmon 1 md Onion, peeled & finely diced
1/4 c Snipped fresh dill
Softened cream cheese and finely chopped scallions or sour cream and salmon caviar for topping. Preheat your waffle iron. If you want to hold the finished waffles until serving time, preheat your oven to 200'F. Melt the butter; reserve. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs until well blended. Pour the liquid ingredients over the dry ingredients and whisk gently to combine. Fold in the salmon, onion, dill and melted butter. Lightly butter or spray the grids of your iron, if needed. Brush or spray the grids again only if subsequent waffles stick. Spoon out 1/2 cup of batter (or the amount recommended by your waffle maker's manufacturer) onto the hot iron. Spread the batter evenly over the grids with a metal spatula or wodden spoon, stopping right before the edge. Close the lid and bake until golden and crisp. Serve immediately or keep the waffles, in a single layer, on a rack in the preheated oven while you make the rest of the batch. To serve: Add a scoop of cream cheese and a sprinkling of chopped scallions or a generous spoonful of sour cream and some salmon caviar.

Traditional potato waffles -- gaufrettes -- are topped with pink smoked salmon fillets and garnished with caviar. They rest on a bed of tangy cream -- crème fraiche seasoned with lemon juice, salt, and pepper -- and grated eggs with minced chives. The combination is classic. Have everything ready; once you grate the potatoes the waffles must be cooked or the potatoes will discolor.

Smoke Salmon chive Hash brown - with Dill cream | Tasty brunch recipe
Ingredients:
1 Large potato
fresh dill, chopped
1 cup, heavy whipping cream
1 Tbsp. cream cheese
fresh chives, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
Butter
3-4 oz. small pack, Lox/Smoke salmon
garnish: chopped dill

Saison waffles with salmon & sour cream | The Craft Beer Channel
It's the second of our cooking videos at Vikgarden with Per, and this time we make some great party food – saison waffles with sour cream, fermented salmon & powdered eggs!
The quantities for the mix is one egg to a cup of flour and a bottle of beer. Everything else is to taste! And if you don't like or can't find fermented fish, any smoked fish would be awesome too.

Salmon Waffle
Tired of eating waffles the same old way? Try a savoury topping instead.
RECIPE: Salmon waffle
2 waffles (we used Bisquick batter)
1 salmon filtet, grilled and flaked
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1-2 tbsp chilli mayonnaise
1/2 tsp cajun spice
Fried onions, for garnish
Hot sauce (optional)
1) Mix together the salmon, mustard, chilli mayonnaise, and cajun spice. Place on top of each waffle, garnish with fried onions and hot sauce before serving.
