Traditional Mutton Phaal Recipe!!!
Bangalore Mutton Phal is a simple yet extremely delicious Mutton curry with Coriander. It is also full of flavors and makes a great with chapati or plain rice !
Mutton phal.....
Ingredients
Mutton - 500g
Onion - 2 medium size
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Green chillies 10/12
Green coriander - one bunch
Black pepper- as per your taste
Turmeric powder - 1tsp
Garam masala powder - (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, black pepper, star anise, nutmeg, coriander, red chili roasted and powder) 1 tbsp
Jeera 1/2 spoon
Salt as per taste
Oil half cup
Water 1 cup
serve with ghee rice or plain steam rice.... and Chapati

Easter Ramadan recipe Chicken phaal recipe is a Bangalore green chicken gravy recipe usually served in dawat or wedding and also prepared on normal days. A quick recipe to make with chicken and ground masala that throws flavours of pepper cumin garlic and coriander. This recipe goes well with Khichdi ghee rice khushka pulav roti naan chapathi Parata dosa idli Appam idiappam. Below is the recipe hope you will love this
Ingredients
400-500 gms chicken
1 serving spoon oil
1 bay leaf
2 cinnamon
2 cardamom
2 cloves
1 onion
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
3 tbsp water
To grind :
1 tomato
2 onions
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin
Handful of coriander leaves
2 tbsp fresh grated coconut
3 tbsp water
Method : grind the paste well
In a pressure cooker Heat oil, add onion, whole spices and fry onion till brown
Then goes in ginger garlic paste and let the raw smell reduce
Add chicken and fry for 2 mins
Add salt and the green paste, mix well, fry for 1 min
Add 3 tbsp water and pressure cook for 4 whistle
Open the lid once the pressure is release
Chicken phaal is ready
Note : oil release can be more here. Just tilt the cooker and remove the excess oil
