MEXICAN CHICKEN STREET TACOS
Hello and welcome to my channel, The Lazy Spork! This is my recipe for authentic mexican street tacos, The one thing i enjoy about this recipe and making these tacos is you can make it in double, or more, batches and it microwaves well for lunch the next day. At least the tortillas and chicken. Hope you enjoy my video and if you dont plz comment why so i can improve, really new to making vidoes. mexican chicken street tacos recipe list:
The Chicken:
2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
4 cups water
2 bay leaves
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp whole peppercorns
1/2 a yellow onion
Chile Sauce:
4 guajillos
4 cali chiles
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp whole peppercorns
2-3 cloves of garlic
1/2 a yellow onion
1 cup chicken broth
The Topping:
1/2 a white onion
1/2 cup cilantro
The Salsa:
2 tbsp reserved chile sauce
2 roma tomatoes
1/2 jalapeno
1 clove garlic
Mexican Chicken Street tacos recipe: Easy Mode
2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
boiling in 4 cups of water for 15 min, cool and chop down to 1/4 pieces
1/4 cup of chile powder
1/2 yellow onion
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 black pepper
1 cup water or broth
Add all in ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Fry chicken in a pan on med high with oil until browned and add Chile sauce. Drop heat down to med/med low and add some water/broth, 1/4 - 1/3 cup. Simmer chicken for 15-20 min until sauce is evaporated and chicken starts to fry. Heat tortillas and serve with cilantro & white onion, lime, salsa and hot sauce.
EASY AUTHENTIC HOMEMADE MEXICAN SHREDDED CHICKEN TACOS!
IN THIS VIDEO:
I show you how to make the easiest authentic mexican shredded tacos at home! Just because we're stuck inside, that does not mean we have to sacrifice flavor. With this simple recipe you'll be able to enjoy delicious tacos right in the comfort of your own home!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
5-6 chicken thighs
4-5 bay leaves
1 white onion
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 green bell pepper
4 chile guajillos
3 roma tomatoes
1 tsp cumin
1-2 TBSP oil of choice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instant corn masa. I used Masa Brosa in this video because they were out Maseca that day. But preferably Maseca if you can find it. Just follow the instructions on the back. You can usually find it at most grocery stores in the international foods aisle.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring a pot of water to a boil. We want to season season the chicken a bit. Add chicken thighs to boiling water. Crunch up the bay leaves and add them in. Add 1/2 the onion. Add the bell pepper. Add 2 cloves of garlic. Add salt and pepper.
Once chicken is done take it out. Let it cool and shred and set aside.
For the sauce take a smaller pot of water and rehydrate your dried Chile guajillos. Add Chile de árbol for more spice if you'd like. This should only take 3-4 minutes. Once they're rehydrated take them out, let them cool, cut in half and remove the seeds.
To a blender add there other 1/2 of the onion. Add the 3 tomatoes, Chile guajillos, 3 cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, and some of the water from the chicken pot. Add enough just to cover the ingredients and blend.
Once blended pass through a strainer to leave the chunky bits out. ONLY IF YOU WANT TO. Sheesh lol I've seen some of y'all in the comments ????
Heat up another pot on medium heat. Add oil and sauce. Bring to a simmer and add in your shredded chicken. Let simmer for about 20 minutes stirring occasionally. After that it's ready to serve.
Make your own tortillas or buy them whatever your preference. Serve with white or Spanish rice if you'd like too. Do whatever you want ????

Mexican Chicken--One Pot Wonder
A one pot meal of chicken breast, black beans, corn, salsa, and fresh cilantro. Fast, healthy, and delicious!
PRINTABLE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS USED:
4-5 chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons salt (1 tsp over chicken, 1 tsp in meal)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
16 ounces salsa (I used Pace Restaurant Style)
1 can black beans, strained & rinsed
1 can corn, strained
1 bunch fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheese (Monterey Jack or Mexican)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat large skillet over medium heat, then add olive oil and chicken.
2. Sprinkle with all the spices and cook about 4-5 minutes on each side, leaving the center a little pink.
3. Add remaining ingredients and get the salsa bubbling.
4. Cook 2-3 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
5. Sprinkle with cheese and fresh cilantro. Eat on a plate, or wrap it in a tortilla with sour cream.

-Pyaz (Onion) 1 small
-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 3
-Jalapeno 1
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) blanched 500g
-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Lemon juice ½ tbs
-Olive oil 3 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium
-Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 tsp
-Chicken boneless cubes 500g
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Onion powder 1 tsp
-Dried oregano 2 tsp
-Paprika powder 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
Prepare White Sauce:
-Olper’s Cheddar cheese 100g
-Makhan (Butter) 3 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1/3 Cup
-Olper’s Milk 3 Cups
-Chicken cube 1
-Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ¼ tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) ½ tsp
-Fresh parsley chopped 1 tbs
-Penne pasta boiled 400g
-Corn kernels boiled ½ Cup
-Shimla mirch (Capsicum) chopped ½ Cup
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
-Olper’s Cheddar cheese 4-5 tbs
-Olper’s Mozzarella cheese 4-5 tbs

Directions:
Prepare Salsa Chicken:
-In a chopper,add onion,garlic,jalapeno,tomatoes,cumin powder,salt lemon juice,chop well & set aside.
-In a frying pan,add olive oil,onion,garlic,mix well & sauté until translucent.
-Add chicken & mix well until it changes color.
-Add black pepper powder,red chilli powder,onion powder,dried oregano,paprika powder,salt,mix well & cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
-Add prepared salsa,mix well & cook until oil separates (3-4 minutes) & set aside.
Prepare White Sauce:
-Cut Olper’s cheddar cheese into cubes & set aside.
-In a saucepan,add butter & let it melt.
-Add all-purpose flour & mix well for 30 seconds.
-Gradually add milk & whisk well.
-Add chicken cube,nutmeg powder,salt,garlic powder,fresh parsley,whisk well,bring it to boil & cook until it thickens (2-3 minutes).
-Add cheddar cheese,mix well & cook until cheese melts & set aside.
-In a large bowl,add boiled penne pasta,prepared salsa chicken,prepared white sauce,corn kernels,capsicum,fresh coriander & mix well.
-Add grated cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese & mix well.
-In a baking dish,add prepared mixture,cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,dried oregano & red chilli crushed.
-Bake in preheated oven at 170C until cheese melts (14-15 minutes).
-Garnish with fresh parsley & serve!

-Frying pan mein olive oil,pyaz aur lehsan dal dein aur translucent hunay tak sauté ker lein.
-Chicken dal dein aur rang tabdeel ho janay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Kali mirch powder,lal mirch powder,onion powder,dried oregano,paprika powder aur namal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per 1-2 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Tayyar salsa dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur oil alag ho janay tak paka lein (3-4 minutes) & side per rakh dein.
Prepare White Sauce:
-Olper’s cheddar cheese ko cubes mein cut ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Saucepan mein makhan dal ker melt karein.
-Maida dal ker 30 seconds kliya ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Thora thora ker ka doodh shamil karein aur whisk kertay rahein.
-Chicken cube,jaifil powder,namak,lehsan powder & fresh parsley dal ker ache tarhan whisk karein aur ubal anay ka bad sauce garha ho janay tak paka lein (2-3 minutes).
-Cheddar cheese dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur sauce garha ho janay tak paka lein & side per rakh dein
-Large bowl mein boiled penne pasta,tayyar salsa chicken,tayyar white sauce,corn kernels, shimla mirch aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Grated cheddar cheese & mozzarella cheese dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Baking dish mein tayyar mixture,cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,dried oregano & red chilli crushed dal dein.
-Preheated oven mein 170C per cheese melt ho janay tak bake ker lein (14-15 minutes).
-Fresh parsley sa garnish ker ka serve karein!
