How To make Meat Loaf Tropicale
1 1/2 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 ea Egg; Lg
1 c Bananas; Ripe, Mashed, 2 Lg
1/2 c Oats; Quick Cooking
1/2 c Green Bell Pepper; Chopped
2 tb Onion; Chopped
1 ts Salt
1 ts Mustard; Prepared
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Allspice
2 ea Slices Bacon
3 tb Orange Marmalade
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all of the ingredients, except the bacon and marmalade, together. Spread the mixture in an ungreased loaf pan, 9 X 5 X 3-inches. Crisscross the bacon slices on the top of
the meat mixture and spread the marmalade over the whole thing. Bake, uncovered for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Drain off the excess fat and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. NOTE: The bananas add a unique, almost mysterious flavor and a special moistness to this elegant meat loaf. -----

INGREDIENTS
1-2 lbs meat of choice .. you can use ground chicken. beef. or turkey
* used 3 lbs which can serve 6-7 people .. keep in mind meatloaf is great for leftovers such as sandwiches etc.. this also freeze well, just wrap in seran wrap and freeze*
3 slices bread
1 cup milk
eggs * 1 egg per lb of meat used *
desire amount chopped bell pepper and onion ( I used about 1/2 each*)
3 tbs wortchesire sauce
3 tbs onion and garlic powder
1 tbs salt
2 tbs beef bouillon ( or 2 packs onion soup mix )
1/2 cup bbq sauce ( or desire amount )
To make the glaze *This is to taste so please adjust to your liking *
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup bbq sauce
3 tbs wortceshire sauce

For the cornbread I just make the southern cornbread recipe on the back of the Martha White Cornmeal bag, minus the sugar! ????????????
Instant Pot Dry Beans:
Ingredients:
2 pounds dry beans
8 cups water
salt and pepper to taste
any other seasoning you prefer
Put beans, water, and seasonings into the instant pot. Seal and set to high pressure for 50-60 minutes. When the time is up allow a 30 minute slow release.
Mashed potatoes:
8-10 russet potatoes
salt
black pepper
2 tablespoons mayo
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 cup milk
Wash, peel, and cut up potatoes. Boil until tender. Transfer to a large bowl and add in all other ingredients. Mash and stir until everything is combined.

pre heat oven 180 degrees C
tray with baking paper
large bowl
500g lean beef mince
500g sausage meat if you cant get sausage meat you can use all beef mince
440g can crushed pineapple drained
1 small green capsicum chopped small
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 tea spoons sweet chilli sauce
mix with a fork then with clean hands
8 sheets of puff pastry approx.
thaw out 3 at a time
cut down middle
spoon mixture on
roll up
then with back of knife indent. then cut in half. for party cut again
place on tray then whisk an egg and brush or rub on top
bake approx 35 to 45 mins til golden
makes 32 large or 64 party
