How To make Lemon Pudding Pound Cake
BH&G HERITAGE COOKBOOK:
4 Eggs
1 pk 2-layer-sz yellow cake mix
1 pk Instant lemon pudding mix
-(3 5/8- or 3 3/4-ounce) 3/4 c Water
1/3 c Cooking oil
2 c Sifted powdered sugar
1/3 c Lemon juice
Beat eggs till thick and lemon-colored. Add dry cake mix, pudding mix, water, and oil; beat 10 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into ungreased 10-inch tube pan with removable bottom. Bake at 350 till done, about 50 minutes. Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar and lemon juice; heat to boiling. Leaving cake on pan bottom, remove sides of pan from hot cake. Using 2-tined fork, prick holes in top of cake. Brush hot lemon mixture over entire cake. Cool. Remove pan bottom. -----

2/3 Cups of Melted Butted
1- Cup of Whole Milk
2- Tablespoons of Duncan Hines Creamy Lemon Frosting
1/2- tablespoon of Pure Vanilla Extract {Watkins OR McCormick}
1/2 -tablespoon of Lemon Extract {Watkins OR McCormick}
2-Large Fresh Lemons- {Squeeze Juice from Lemons to use in your Cake & Glaze, use only half of the juice in your cake mix batter}.

Preheat your oven @ 350 DEGREES!
Lemon Lime Glaze:
2 & 1/2- Cups pf Confectioner Sugar
2- Lg. Lemons
1/2 Tablespoon of Lemon Lime Extract
1/2 Tablespoon of Pure Vanilla Extract
1-Tablespoon of Melted Butter
1- Fresh Lemon {Squeezed fresh Lemon Juice}
2- Tablespoons of Duncan Hines Creamy Lemon Frosting
*Whisk all Ingredients together, be sure to whisk well until everything is mixed well. Then begin to pour along cake @ if using a Bundt Cake Pan pour along the top just as you saw my demonstration in my video.
*If using a 9 -inch cake pan simply pour in a circular rotation again just as you saw in my video, just let the glaze drip and apply the 2nd layer of cake and repeat the same process. You're going to have a moist & beautiful cake that taste & looks AMAZING!

* Mix your ingredients just as you saw me do it in my video. Bake in your oven on 350 degrees for 36 mins., or until your toothpick comes out clean!
*Once our cake is done, remove it from our oven, let it stand on our cooling rack upon our counter top for 20- mins or until its cool down some.
{Attached to this video is my Lemon Lime Glaze w/ Fresh Lemons that both my mother & grandmother made as I was a child}, except I put my own spin on this Glaze by using the ingredients that are in my video for this recipe. How to make Lemon Loaf Cake that is super moist and velvety with simple ingredients you can find at home.
Here's what you'll need:
1 cup sugar (200g)
2 teaspoon lemon zest (8g)
1/2 cup softened butter (110g)
2 tablespoons of veg oil
2 large eggs (room temperature)
2 tablespoons of lemon juice (30ml)
1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour (187g)
1 teaspoon baking powder(5g)
1/2 teaspoon salt(3g)
1/2 cup milk (120ml)
LEMON GLAZE:
1/3 cup icing sugar (50g)
2 tbsp lemon juice (30ml)

I’m sharing how to make incredibly moist lemon pound cake from scratch. The cake is perfectly citrusy, brushed with lemon syrup, and finished with lemon icing. A must-try for the upcoming warmer season!????
???? The ingredients to make lemon pound cake
[Pound Cake] for a 8” by 4” (or 1.5 QT) loaf pan
• Granulated sugar 8.5 oz | 240 g (1 1/5 US cups)
• Salt 3/4 tsp
• Lemon zest from 2 lemons
• Unsalted butter (softened) 8 oz | 226 g (2 US sticks)
• Eggs 7 oz | 200 g (4 medium eggs)
• All-purpose flour 8.5 oz | 240 g (2 US cups)
• Baking powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
• Sour cream 6 oz | 170 g (3/4 US cup)
• Honey 1 oz | 30 g (1.5 Tbsp)
• Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
• Lemon juice 1 oz | 30 g (2 Tbsp)
???? Bake at 325 F | 163 C for about 60 - 75 minutes.
* Adjust the time & temperature accordingly.
[Lemon Syrup]
• Water 3 oz | 85 g (1/3 US cup)
• Lemon juice 1 oz | 30 g (2 Tbsp)
• Granulated sugar 2 oz | 56 g (1/4 US cup)
[Lemon Icing]
• Powdered sugar 5 oz | 142 g (1 1/6 US cups)
• Lemon juice 1 Tbsp + 2 tsp
???? Bake at 325 F | 163 C for 1 minute to let the icing dry and gives it a nice crispiness.
