How To make Lemon Nut Bread
1/3 c Margarine(soft)
2/3 c Sugar
3 ea Egg whites
2 ts Baking powder
3/4 c Whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c White flour
1 c Skim milk
1 1/2 ts Dried lemon rind
3 tb Chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350. Creanm together margarine and sugar. Add egg whites and mix thoroughly. Combine dry ingredients and add the above alternatly with milk. Stir in lemon rind and nuts. Bake in a lightly oiled 9=by-5-inch loaf pan for 60 minutes or until wooden
pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove bread from oven. Mix 1/3 cup powdered sugar with 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice until smooth and pour over warm bread. Allow to sit for 20 minutes, then remove bread from pan. ~

Recipe is as follows
Moist Banana Nut Bread
What you'll need!
5 Bananas
2/ 1/4 Cups of All Purpose Flour (UNBLEACHED)
1/ 1/2 Cups White Sugar
2 eggs
1 stick of Unsalted Butter (Softened)
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
Less than 1/4 teaspoon of salt (Meaning fill the 1/4 teaspoon half way to the top of the spoon.
1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon of Spice
1 1/2 Cups Chopped Walnuts.
(WALNUT LOVERS ONLY)
Add 2 cups Chopped Walnuts
Step 1 in a Medium size bowl, Mash 5 bananas until it comes a creamy consistency. NOTE-You can increase to 6 Bananas if you like!
Step 2 Prepare and chop walnuts If you are using whole walnuts. Toast them in a Preheated 400 degree oven for about 7 minutes. Once done take out and let cool. Once Cooled take a large knife and chop walnuts into chunky bite sized pieces. Pieces should be smaller than a kernel of popcorn.
Step 3 in a large bowl, SIFT 2 1/4 Cups of All Purpose flour (UNBLEACHED)
Step 4 Add 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder, 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda, Less than 1/4 teaspoon of salt (Meaning fill the 1/4 teaspoon half way to the top of the spoon. 1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon and 1/2 Teaspoon of Spice. Mix all dry ingredients until combined. Set bowl aside to add wet ingredients into later
Step 5 In a medium size bowl add 1 stick of unsalted butter (Softened) and 1/ 1/2 Cups of white sugar. Mix until creamy and smooth. 4 minutes total.
Step 6 Add 2 eggs ONE at a time. Add the first Egg into the bowl and mix for 40 seconds then add the second egg in and mix for 1 minute.
Step 7 Add 1/2 Cup of Vegetable oil and blend for about 2 minutes or until creamy. Mixture should be creamy and thick with no visible oil.
Step 8 Add 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract and mix for 40 seconds
Step 9 Add Banana mixture and mix for 1 minute
Step 10 Add all dry ingredients into wet ingredients all at once. You can also alternate and add flour 3 separate times. MIX with large spoon DO NOT USE MIXER to blend. Mix until well incorporated.
Step 11 Add 1 1/2 Cups of Chopped Walnuts and fold in with spoon. DO NOT MIX with mixer.
Walnut Lovers add 2 cups of Walnuts
Step 12 Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
Step 13 Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes
Step 14 Once out off oven insert toothpick in the center of the Banana Nut Bread and it should come out clean. If it does not come out clean place it back into the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 15. Cool for 4 hours. I recommend that you let it cool overnight. This will help the flavors increase!!!! :)
Step 16 Serve with ice cream or for breakfast. Enjoy!!!!
