CAMEROON POTATO HOT POT (IRISh Potatoes)
Potato hotpot simply called in cameroon as hotpot is a dish with a silver lining.
Can be prepared during birthdays, mothers day and many other joyous occasions.
It is a mix of potatoes with all the colourful vegies you can ever have with carrots and green beans standing out.
Simply peel potatoes and parpoil.
Boil your chicken or meat and fry both potatoes and chicken (deep fry).
Fry your carrots, green beans and other vegies including your ginger-garlic blend.
Put potatoes and meat back in pot and let simmer for another 10 minutes and you are good to go. Enjoy with family.
These potatoes are commonly called in cameroon as Irish Potatoes for some reason i dont know.
