Original Hungarian Goulash Recipe
Hi, The video is a bit longer but its worth watching! The recipe is very good and your going to love your goulash once its done! This recipe is our family traditional recipe passed down few generations.
ingredients:
2.5kg meat (half pork shoulder chuck roast & half beef grain cubes)
1.5kg onions
250g Carrots
25g Hungarian paprika
30g Garlic
5g Black Pepper
20g Salt
10g White Flower

Austrian Style Hungarian Beef Goulash
A classic Hungarian Goulash is a common meal eaten predominantly in Central Europe, the national dish of Hungary.
In our recipe beef chuck is slowly stewed with onion, tomato paste, sweet paprika, and caraway seeds to create an incredibly tasty sauce with tender beef pieces.
The best meat for cooking goulash is chuck or shank. Many versions also add other vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, celery peppers, and tomatoes.
Hungarian goulash can be served over noodles, dumplings, potatoes, rice or spaetzle.
This tasty comforting food is great for the whole family to enjoy.
Recipe:
1.5 kg diced chuck beef
1 kg diced onion
1 TBS caraway seeds
4 TBS sweet paprika
1.5 liter beef broth
salt to taste
Cooking time - 3 hours

1 kg Rindfleisch
2 Zwiebeln
Olivenöl
Zwiebel anbraten
2 Knoblauchzehen
Fleisch hinzufügen
3-5 Minuten bei starker Hitze braten

2 EL Tomatenmark
1 Tomate
1 Pfeffer
Sellerie
800ml Wasser
Vorbereiten
40 Minuten bei schwacher Hitze garen
2 Karotten
3 mittelgroße Kartoffeln
Bei schwacher Hitze 10-15 Minuten garen
Petersilie

3/4 OF A MEDIUM RED BELL PEPPER
1 1/2 TSP SWEET PAPRIKA
1/2 TSP AROMATIC SPICE BLEND (OPTIONAL)
1/2 TSP WHITE PEPPER
3 1/2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
1 1/2 TBSP BUTTER
1 TBSP FLOUR
2 CLOVES OF CRUSHED GARLIC
2 MEDIUM POTATOES

Classic BEEF GOULASH Recipe | How to Make a Traditional Beef Goulash | Golaž
Episode 34: One of the best things about authentic food, like a Traditional Beef GOULASH, is it’s ability to provide comfort to people. Goulash is originally a Hungarian dish, however it is a very common dish eaten in Slovenia and many other parts of Europe.
There are several different variations — in this episode Michelle takes us on a journey and shares with us her families favourite version. You have to give it a try!

Ingredients
2-3 onions, diced
2 carrots, Chopped
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 pounds of stewing beef
1 1/2 - 2 cups of water or Beef broth
3 x Bay leaves
1 1/2 tsp’s paprika (or more to taste)
1/2 tsp pepper
Salt (to taste)
*optional: tomato paste (start with 1 Tablespoon - add more to taste)
2 Tbsp’s of oil
1. Add oil to a large pot. Fry onions on medium temperature until they become translucent.
2. Then add the meat with the onions.
3. Once the meat is slightly browned add in the garlic. Mix until the garlic is fragrant about 30 seconds.
4. Now it’s time to add the carrots.
5. Add enough water or beef broth to cover the meat completely.
6. Give it all a good mix, before adding 3 bay leaves.
7. Add some seasoning: salt, pepper, 1 1/2 tsp’s paprika (or more to taste). *This next step is optional: Add tomato paste (to taste)
8. Mix everything together until really well combined.
9. Cover the pot and lower the temperature. Allow the goulash to simmer on low for 3-4 hours. Stirring occasionally.
10. Serve it along with; mashed potatoes, macaroni, polenta, or my homemade gnocchi recipe, a salad and some fresh bread. Dober tek

1/4 cup (30g) flour - for dredging only, discard remainder
2 large yellow onions - diced
3 large bell peppers - assorted, chopped
2 large carrots - diced
5 cloves garlic - minced
3 plum tomatoes - chopped
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
5 tablespoons (30g) Hungarian paprika
2 large bay leaves
5 cups (1200g) low-sodium beef stock or broth
3 medium Yukon Gold potatoes - 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley - minced
salt and pepper - to taste
